Transport Links
Battersea's transport has improved significantly since the Northern line extension opened, providing Battersea Power Station and Nine Elms with direct Underground access to the West End and the City. Clapham Junction, just to the south, adds fast National Rail services to Waterloo, Victoria and beyond, making it easy to reach lectures, part-time jobs or a night out without a lengthy commute.
Battersea Park station also runs regular services into Victoria, while buses connect the area well with Chelsea, Vauxhall and Wandsworth for those without a nearby tube stop.
The area suits students who want a bit of space to unwind alongside easy access to the rest of London. Green spaces like Battersea Park, complete with a boating lake, zoo and riverside paths, sit alongside independent cafés, gyms and supermarkets, so day-to-day life feels easy without constant reliance on Central London.
