New Park is a beautiful student accommodation located in the heart of Edinburgh. New Park Edinburgh is the ideal accommodation for students studying at Edinburgh University. The convenient location of New Park allows students to simply take a walk or bike ride to teach their University. The Heriot-Watt University is also located in close proximity and can be conveniently accessed by buses and public transport. 
New Park student accommodation has one of the most beautiful and historically rich locations. Since Edinburgh is the capital of Scotland, students staying at New Park can find a large number of historical sights and some amazing places to see. Edinburgh has excellent public transport facilities, and cycles can be rented from New Park student accommodation as well. Edinburgh also has a buzzing nightlife for some fun and relaxation after long university hours.
The New Park student accommodation has spacious rooms which are well-lit with natural light. New Park has about 238 rooms for students, with a mix of shared flats and studio apartments. Each flat and studio comes well-equipped with a bed, study desk, wardrobe, mirror, television, en-suite bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchenette. All rooms at New Park Edinburgh are available for rent on a weekly basis as well.

Cancellation policy

FREE CANCELLATION = NO-RISK BOOKING

We understand that plans change which is why we’ve introduced our free cancellation policy. If you book to live with us during the 2021/22 academic year and your plans change, you can cancel by 31st May 2021 with no charge.

Terms and conditions:

  1. This promotion only applies to 39 or more week tenancy agreements for the 2021/22 academic year, starting in September.
  2. To qualify you must book a room and complete a tenancy agreement with Downing Students (in accordance with these terms) before 31st May 2021 and any application to cancel must be received by no later than 5 pm on 31st May 2021.
  3. A £100 holding deposit is required to complete your application. If cancelled by 31st May your holding deposit will be refunded.
  4. After this date, the standard cancellation terms apply.
  5. This promotion only applies to all bookings made directly with Downing Students or via their international accommodation referral agents and excludes any bookings made through any University or Higher Education Institutions' accommodation office.
  6. In order to benefit from this promotion and to cancel your booking, you are required to email the team based on the accommodation you have booked. Contact us at info@beststudenthalls.com

  8. To be entitled to this promotion any existing customers must have made all outstanding payments due on their 2020/21 account.
  9. In any instances where a holding deposit is paid and the tenant fails to manually or digitally sign the tenancy agreement, we reserve the right to retain the holding deposit in lieu of costs incurred.
  10. Downing Students reserves the right to remove or change this promotional offer at any time. In the event of Downing Students doing so, any individuals who had completed tenancies prior to the change or removal will be entitled to benefit from this promotion unaffected.

      I had a great experience at New Park. The bed is big unlike most accommodations that come with very small bed. And that’s so crucial if you have to stay like a whole year. The place is situated a little bit inside the community area. It’s not directly at the main road which makes it more peaceful. No loud noise from the main road. I like it very much. The room is relatively new ✨The staffs here are lovely! I had stayed in many student accommodations in Edinburgh. This is by far the best! In terms of comfort, convenience, weighting everything together in the whole picture. From my experience staying in various student accommodation others than New Park, I’ve learnt that sometimes if my place is very near City Centre it could feel busy to just get around or doing grocery, it could be very crowd in the street. New Park offer a quite peaceful community area with groceries nearby and it’s not hard to go to the uni by bus from here, therefore it suits me more. 👍

      Both en-suite and studios are good facilities. There are social funny events organised by stuff. Quiet nice area In general (except for a few arrogant students who don’t understand that people should not slam the doors and keep the volume down at nights). Particularly suit students study on Holyrood Campus. Walkable distance. Convenient buses around.
