Moving abroad for university can be daunting, but staying at Clanny House has made the transition seamless. The accommodation is clean and thoughtfully managed. What really stands out, though, is the staff, who are so approachable, professional, and quick to assist with anything you need. It gives you a real sense of reassurance. The environment here feels very secure and calm, making it easy to focus on assignments, but it's still easy to socialize and meet people. I met a few amazing friends while just walking outside minding my business. My roommate’s were great too! With its ideal location near the hospital, 20 minutes from the city campus and 10 min walk from local shops, it’s the perfect home away from home. 10/10 would recommend!

Clanny House in Sunderland is an amazing place to live. The cleanliness is maintained to a very high standard, which I truly appreciate. The reception staff are extremely kind, friendly, and always smiling. Any issue I had was resolved immediately and professionally. The maintenance team is very punctual and efficient, and the manager together with the assistant manager are very understanding people who always found the best solutions to my problems. Overall, Clanny House feels like a welcoming and comfortable home. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great place to live.

I am currently staying at Clanny House and, as an international student, my experience so far has been excellent. The staff are friendly, professional, and very supportive — always approachable and quick to help, which is especially reassuring when you are living away from home. The environment feels safe, calm, and study-friendly, while still being social and welcoming. The location is another big advantage, with easy access to the university, city centre, and local amenities. Overall, Clanny House offers a comfortable, secure, and well-organised living experience.
