NOISY ACCOMMODATION Forget about getting some rest or even focusing while trying to study, this place is very noisy and it's not just during the day but even in the night I am talking 3am in the morning , drilling noises and construction work in the middle of the night, rubbish collections in the morning 7am, builders, sports cars , party goers shouting as they pass by the accommodation I can hear everything bit of it even though I close the windows . The other issue is the poor ventilation no air flow at all making the rooms stuffed,yes there's an extractor in the room but I can't sleep with it on, the windows barely open for safety reasons, I can't sleep in the night and this has affected me a lot. I wonder if there's any solution to the noise issue. I wouldn't recommend this accommodation

Plymouth Cross House, where do I start? The best bit is the rooms with Juliet balconies. However, you must sign a disclaimer that you won’t throw yourself out the window before they unlock it. I have no intention of doing so; however, this place has made me close to it. The bin store… or shall I rename it the room of doom. I don’t know when they last took the bins out, as the rubbish is piled high and all over the floor. You’ll have to wade through other people’s rubbish just to add your bin bag to what looks like Plymouth's own replication of the Himalayas. I don’t even want to fathom what is hiding in those bins. But it likely has a hairy body, tail and ears. And don’t get me started on that noise, which started a few weeks ago. It sounds like a rusty generator kicking in every minute or two. It has driven me crazy to the point of no return. If you’re one of the unlucky souls who has a room facing it, then good luck. Trying to focus on uni work while that thing goes off every minute? Forget it. It’s like it waits for you to start concentrating just so it can interrupt your train of thought. Eventually, you’ll find yourself praying that whatever’s living in the bins finds you first and puts you out of your misery.

It's in the city center and much more budget-friendly than other accommodations. The rooms are large enough for one person, and the staff is very friendly. I recommend booking a studio room because it has everything you need and the rooms are very nice.

Lived here for 3 years and have loved my stay. Friendly staff and great maintenance team. If you want a reliable , secure place to stay with modern rooms, I recommend staying here. The only downside is staying on the 7th floor can get very warm during the summer months however a large fan is provided with these rooms. Hoovers and mops are provided as well. 5/5 stars !!! 🤩

Lovely staff, maintenance issues resolved in good time and run fun events for tenants. Always feel safe with all the security and the extra facilities are a nice touch. Only downside is the cost of laundry, cheapest wash cycle is £4.20. Other than that would recommend!
