Mary Parker House, Plymouth

The rooms are in great condition and the price is one of the cheapest in Plymouth with the best rooms. So much space and a big kitchen. All the staff are so lovely and any maintenance is sorted straight away. Only 5 minutes away from Plymouth uni but a bit of a walk to the clubs in the winter. Overall it is great and I wouldn’t have chose anywhere else. I definitely recommend

I have currently lived here for a year. Started off in university accommodation but looked somewhere else for my second year. First time I was showed around I kept asking “so how can this be such a good deal”, “what’s the catch”? I still have no answer, MPH has continuously surprised me day in day out from the incredibly friendly staff to the amazing facilities provided, even at a lower cost than most places! It is a truly wonderful location, only 5 mins from campus and very quiet at night as the trains don’t run very often. I look forward to returning here for my final year and will always recommend it to anyone asking about accommodation. Thank you to MPH for making this feel like a home from home 🙂.

I've loved staying at MPH so much so I rebooked my room next year!! The staff are really friendly and I love having a gym and washer on site. Not only is it cheaper than most houses or university accommodation, the rooms are also high quality. If you want somewhere close to the lifecentre, aldi and uni you will love it!! They also give free breakfasts and host getting to know your flatmates party which shows they care :)

Living at Mary Parker House for the past academic year has been an absolutely delightful experience! All the staff are so friendly and helpful and strive to make MPH a convenient and comfortable place to live! They were so understanding and helpful when I had to book an extra week before the start of my contract and delay payment of the 1st instalment until I had received my student finance payment. Maintenance is always up to date and any reported issues are dealt with properly. You can always rely on the staff to collect and store your mail safely for you. Your well-being and comfort really are key to the staff, and they ensure to always keep up a welcoming environment. The facilities are excellent - on-site laundry, gym, and common room. The standard ensuite has been the perfect size for me, with a modern design and bathroom, and the kitchen has plenty of space and is well equipped. The only issue might be finding parking for car owners as the limited on-site parking is reserved for those with accessibility needs. However, this is a small detail and can be solved by parking on local streets that do not require a parking permit. Overall, I have thoroughly enjoyed living here and would definitely recommend it!

Mary Parker House was a really nice place to live during the final year of my course, it is incredibly clean, tidy, the amenities are great, and the team there are amazing. Unlike other landlords, they really care about the building and maintenance is always really fast. Genuinely the best place I've lived since coming to Plymouth.
