Select the room type: Review available en-suite rooms, studios or shared apartments, along with rent and tenancy dates.
Click “Book Now”: Start the online booking application for the selected property.
Enter student details: Complete the application with the required personal and contact information.
Provide a photograph and guarantor details: Keep a head-and-shoulders photograph ready, along with the guarantor's name, email address and address, if applicable.
Pay the advance rent or holding payment: Make the payment requested during the booking process to reserve the room. The payment is credited towards the first rent instalment.
Complete the booking application: Review the booking details and submit the required information. If the student has specific accessibility needs, contact the Residents' Team as the online process may be paused for further discussion.
Review and sign the accommodation agreement: Complete the applicable tenancy agreement or licence agreement for the selected property.
Complete guarantor formalities: If paying rent by instalments using a guarantor, arrange for the guarantor to provide proof of ID and address and sign the agreement as required.
Pay the first rent instalment: Follow the payment schedule stated in the agreement. The first rental instalment must be paid before move-in.
Receive booking confirmation: Retain the booking confirmation and payment acknowledgement. For the 2026/27 academic year, some properties may have a specific agreement-signing process while regulatory changes are finalised.
Complete pre-arrival formalities: Watch the induction video and book a move-in slot when Fresh contacts the student before the tenancy starts.

    How to Book?

    Booking Process Details

    The booking process is quick and straightforward, but having some information ready will help. You'll need the name, email, and address of your guarantor, a headshot photo, and a bank card for the advance rent/booking fee (ROI only)

    Do I Need a Guarantor?

    Most properties require a guarantor, who will pay the rent if you can't. Your guarantor must be over 18, not live in a Fresh-managed property, and can reside outside the UK. After signing the contract, your guarantor must provide ID, proof of address, and sign the agreement. Some properties may allow you to pay the full year's rent upfront to avoid needing a guarantor. Check with the Residents’ Team if this option is available.

    What is Advance Rent?

    Most properties require advance rent when booking. This is refundable if you cancel within the cooling-off period, your place is withdrawn, or you cannot get a UK visa. This advance rent will go towards your first rent installment.

    Do You Need a Guarantor?

    Most landlords and letting agents require a UK-based guarantor. Without one, you may be asked to pay your full year's rent upfront. To help students navigate this, we've partnered with Housing Hand, which can provide a recognised certificate of rental guarantee, giving both you and your landlord peace of mind.

    It's worth knowing that several of our student halls don't require a UK-based guarantor at all, allowing students to pay rent in convenient instalments instead.       Living at My pad paisely has been a great experience, during my time here as a student. The rooms are modern, clean and comfortable making it easy to focus on studies while still enjoying student life. The staff are friendly, supportive and always quick to help whenever needed. The location is also very convenient , close to shops, the train station most especially for easy commute to Glasgow, and My university UWS is just a stone throw, can you imagine! Overall it is a welcoming and safe space to live in with people from all around the world and would totally recommend it to anyone seeking for a peaceful and well connected place to live in.

      Very friendly staff, only a five minute walk from UWS, Paisley. Genuinely great experience. Local Shops, Transport and various other clubs. Perfect for living in Paisley, Excellent travel if working/studying in Glasgow/ surrounding areas. Loved the place, couldn't get a better price. Thanks!
