I've had countless experiences with block managers over the years, and unfortunately, almost all of them have been extremely disappointing. A few weeks ago, Student FM took over the management of the building where I own a unit in Sheffield, and I was unexpectedly and pleasantly surprised by the quality and attention of the service they provide. Not only are they highly knowledgeable, but they’ve also been incredibly responsive to every single request I’ve made — from the simplest to the most complex. The level of transparency in both management and communication is something I had never experienced before, and I genuinely found it moving. I’d like to give special recognition to Gemma Patterson, who has demonstrated outstanding professionalism and a level of support far above the industry standard. I’d also like to take this opportunity to thank her publicly. If you're reading this and considering appointing Student FM as your block manager, I can confidently say you won’t regret it.

I have been renting a studio apartment for two years from StudentFM. The reception staff are lovely. The company have been nothing short of incredible communicating, and maintaining the building.

Having lived in Northgate Point, run by Student FM, for the past three years, I can confidently say it's been a fantastic place to live. The building is modern, secure, and well-run, and the staff are always responsive. One of the best parts is that they organise monthly parties for students right in the building, creating a great sense of fun and community. Plus, the location is perfect! Just minutes from the city center, making it easy to get anywhere I need.

I’ve lived here, at Northgate Studios for five years now and I can honestly say it’s been a great experience from start to finish. The staff, both past and present, have always been incredibly friendly, supportive, and genuinely caring, which makes a huge difference. What sets this accommodation apart from other student accommodation I’ve visited is the efforts put into the building both the interior and community atmosphere. Both staff and students regularly come together and organise themed parties and social events for students, which makes it so easy to meet people and feel at home. I could not recommend StudentFM enough! Particularly Northgate Studios. This will always be my home away from home and I’m grateful for all the lovely people I’ve meet while living here. Thank you 🤍
