Do You Need a Guarantor?

Most landlords and letting agents require a UK-based guarantor. Without one, you may be asked to pay your full year's rent upfront. To help students navigate this, we've partnered with Housing Hand, which can provide a recognised certificate of rental guarantee, giving both you and your landlord peace of mind.

It's worth knowing that several of our student halls don't require a UK-based guarantor at all, allowing students to pay rent in convenient instalments instead. To find out which properties qualify and how to get started, reach out to our team. We're happy to guide you through the booking process from start to finish.

I am a student enrolled in UEA, this accommodation is close to the university. The accommodation facilitates many amenities. It has been well maintained and the staff helps you with all the queries. In conclusion the accommodation has a good atmosphere.

St. Crispin’s House is one of the best places to live as a student in Norwich. The building is modern, stylish, and packed with everything you could possibly need – from a 24-hour gym and cinema room to study spaces and great social areas. The location is perfect, just a short walk to the city centre with shops, restaurants, and nightlife right on your doorstep. The staff are friendly and always willing to help, which makes the building feel welcoming and safe. The security is excellent too, with keycard entry and CCTV giving real peace of mind. My room was fully furnished, comfortable, and included high-speed WiFi and bills – no hidden surprises! Yes, it’s on the pricier side compared to some other places in Norwich, but you really do get what you pay for: quality facilities, great service, and a fantastic student community. If you want convenience, comfort, and a vibrant atmosphere, I’d highly recommend Yugo St. Crispin’s House. It truly feels like a home away from home.

I had a great experience staying in this student accommodation. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, and the facilities were exactly what a student needs. The location is very convenient, close to public transport and essential shops, which made daily life much easier. The staff were friendly, supportive, and always willing to help whenever needed. The environment felt safe, welcoming, and suitable for studying as well as relaxing. Overall, I would highly recommend this accommodation to students looking for a comfortable and stress-free place to live.

The building is well located for everyday life and study. Shops, bus stops, and campus are within easy reach. The rooms are compact but practical, with good natural light. The shared kitchen and communal areas could use more frequent cleaning, especially during peak hours. The wi-fi is stable enough for lectures, streaming, and assignments without interruptions. Staff respond to maintenance requests, though sometimes the turnaround is slower than expected. Security and access control feel reliable. Overall this accommodation offers convenience and comfort for its price bracket. With more consistent upkeep of shared spaces, the experience could be significantly improved.

My experience at St Crispin’s House student accommodation in Norwich has been genuinely positive. The environment is calm, safe, and well-maintained, which made it easy to settle in and focus on my studies. The rooms are comfortable and practical, and the shared spaces are kept clean and welcoming. What stood out most was the supportive atmosphere staff are approachable and responsive, and there’s a real sense of respect for students’ privacy while still feeling supported. Living here helped me feel grounded, independent, and comfortable in a new city.
