4.5/5 for the room The room is very nice and comfortable. It’s a good size, with a lot of storage. The en-suite bathroom is very helpful. There were no major issues with this except for an insect problem during the summer due to the proximity to the wetlands, which is understandable. The train noise is distracting if the window is kept open. The view is breathtaking. No complaints really. 3/5 for the common areas The kitchen is okay with the double fridge. But counter space is lacking for 4 people. A large table or island should have been there. Having new tenants rotate over the summer was a bit inconvenient since they don’t have any cleaning responsibilities or need to maintain the property, making it difficult for us residents who have been living here. The stove is extremely inconvenient as it switches off after 10 minutes, making it difficult to cook. The oven is also not in the best order and doesn’t always work. The number of events hosted at the property is good, but there isn’t enough advertising around it, and the variety of food is extremely limited and is always pizza. The gym, I did say to add more dumbbells but this wasn’t done, making the weight progression lacking. The reception staff could be a little more helpful. There was a legitimate WiFi issue in the study room but the and asked me to take care of it myself, and this was during exam season. Generally, the staff could be more accommodating and could have made the property seem a bit more like home.

I have had a wonderful living experience in this student accommodation. The room is clean, quiet and well-furnished, making daily study and rest very comfortable. The staff are friendly and helpful, always ready to solve problems quickly. The public areas are tidy and the environment is safe and peaceful. I really enjoy living here and highly recommend it to other students.

Living at Canvas Walthamstow has been a great experience so far. The facilities are modern and well looked after, and the cleanliness of the building is consistently excellent. Huge shoutout to Kath, Alana and Veronica for all their hard work behind the scenes. They’re always friendly when you see them around and do a fantastic job keeping everything clean and running smoothly. Their work definitely doesn’t go unnoticed. Thanks for everything!

The front desk staff are amazing. They are always friendly, professional, and very helpful whenever I have questions or need assistance. They respond quickly and make everything so much easier. Really appreciate their support — it makes living here a great experience!
