Covid-19 (Coronavirus) Booking Information for 2020/21
We fully understand that there is a lot of uncertainty surrounding the Covid-19 at the moment and possible consequent travel restrictions. If you book a room for September 2020 today, but are then disallowed from travelling to the UK due to the relevant Government travel restrictions, exclusively as a result of Covid-19 and therefore no longer require the room, you will be released from your booking – see below Terms & Conditions.
Terms & Conditions:
• This guarantee is open to all international students applying for higher education in the UK for the 2020/21 academic year.
• If an applicant is disallowed from travelling to the UK exclusively as a result of Covid19, they need to provide evidence from either the UK Government or from the Government where you live confirming this advice (in English). This must be provided to the Host no later than 1st August 2020.
• On production of the relevant Government confirmation (in English), the applicant's booking will be cancelled in full, with a full refund of any 2020/21 rental payments made.
• All applicants wishing to take up this option need to contact the accommodation where they placed their booking directly in order to activate this Guarantee.
• Any applicants who do not provide evidence by the dates outlined above, will be held to their tenancy agreement and will be liable for all contractual charges.
• Email confirmation will be sent to all students that are accepted onto this guarantee once they have paid advance rent and confirmed their guarantor details where applicable.
• Please note in the case of dual occupancy both parties must be eligible for this guarantee in order for it to apply.
• Please note that if you cancel the room and rebook, the room may not be available, and the price may be revised in August and September 2020.
• These terms and conditions are correct as of 25th March 2020 but the property provider reserves the right to change them or remove this guarantee at any time without prior notice.

i have lived at host for 2 years now and have had a fairly good experience with the accommodation. staff like omar, calin, abdulrahman and hibba have been very nice and helpful when needed during my stay. i would recommend (from personal experience floors 6 and above!) ps. something to keep in mind is the trains and the noise due to its location but i personally did not mind it!

Living here has genuinely been one of the best parts of my student experience. From day one, it has felt like a true home away from home. The building is well-maintained, the atmosphere is welcoming, and it's a place where I've always felt comfortable and supported. A special thank you to Hibba and Abdou, who consistently go above and beyond for residents. They're always approachable, incredibly prompt in responding to any issues or questions, and genuinely care about making sure everything runs smoothly. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help make such a difference and are a big reason why living here has been such a positive experience. It's rare to find student accommodation that combines great facilities with such a supportive management team. I couldn't recommend this place more highly to anyone looking for somewhere that feels safe, welcoming, and truly like a home away from home. Thank you for making my time here so memorable!

One of the nicest places to stay while living in London, situated in a really great area with easy access to everything nearby. What really made the experience special was the staff they were friendly, helpful, and always went the extra mile. A special thank you to Abdou, Hibba, and the rest of the team for making our stay so comfortable and welcoming. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay in London.

The staff here are always polite, kind, and ready to help. Whether you have a maintenance issue or a parcel on the way, they will take care of it efficiently. The building overall is safe and clean, something I really appreciated. It also has a laundry room, a gym (without weighs but with a few machines), and a study area (very little space but useful if necessary). This would've been a 5-star review were it nor for a couple of things. Having a room looking at the train tracks can be a bit annoying after a while; sleeping is no problem with the windows closed, but make sure to ask for a different room if the sound could be a problem for you. The other downside of a room on this side of the building is that heat stays in very easily after sunrise. This is superb during winter, but it can be a problem in summer. Of course the window-opening situation isn't ideal with the noise, but other than that, it's fine. About the wifi, we've had a few outages, usually implying a prolonged lack of connection. They restore it on the same day, but I'd be sure to save documents continously/online. I've had no problem with the water and electric supplies whatsoever, and you can regulate the heating (the system isn't central or only working at certain time frames). The mattress is also great, and that's coming from sb with back problems. Except for the train noise and heat, I'd recommend staying at the Helix!
