Our spacious suite is a fantastic room, ideal for couples or to share with a friend, complete with 2 beds and extra room for overnight visitors. Cancellation policy

  • Cooling Off Period

    • Cooling Off Period

    All bookings receive a 5-day ‘ cooling-off period starting from the booking confirmation date. If you request to cancel within this period, you will be released from the contract and receive a full refund. Please note, should your check-in date fall within these 5 days, this will classify as the end of your ‘cooling-off period.
  • Outside Cooling Off Period

    • Outside Cooling Off Period

    Once the 5-day ‘ cooling-off period has expired, you will be liable to pay your accommodation fee as per your license agreement, however, you do have the option to find a replacement occupier (at our sole discretion).
  • University Refusal

    • University Refusal

    Until 31st July 2024, any cancellation requests outside the ‘cooling-off period will be considered only if you have not been accepted into your chosen London University. Each cancellation request will be taken on a case-by-case basis and must be supported by documents confirming university refusal. If cancellation is approved, you will be released from the contract and your accommodation fee will be refunded less the prepayment. After 31st July 2024, cancellations outside the ‘cooling-off period will not be considered.
  • Visa Refusal

    • Visa Refusal

    If your visa is refused, please contact us within 48 hours of receiving your visa refusal. Each cancellation request must be sent with a supportive document (visa refusal and official proof that your course has been cancelled) prior to the booking start date. If cancellation is approved, you will be released from the contract and your accommodation fee will be refunded less the prepayment.
  • Your Right To Cancel

    • Your Right To Cancel

    1. If you change your mind, or for any other reason you decide that you do not want to proceed with your Booking, you have a period of 5 (five) days, starting on the day after you receive the Booking Confirmation to notify us of your decision to cancel.
    2. To cancel your Booking within the 5-day period, you must contact us in writing, by post or by sending an e-mail to us at info@thestayclub.com. Your cancellation is only effective if we receive your email or letter with the said 5-day period. You are required to keep a copy of your cancellation notification for your own records.
    3. If you make a cancellation in accordance with clause 1 and 2 and your notification is received within the said 5 day period you will receive a full refund of the Booking Payment, within 30 days of our receipt of your notice of cancellation. We will refund you on the credit card or debit card you used to make your Booking Payment.
    4.  If you are making a late application and your Accommodation Start Date occurs before the end of your 5-day period, you agree that your cancellation rights will end on your Accommodation Start Date.
    5. If your Booking is accepted for a period of 90 days or less, clauses 1 to 4 (inclusive) shall not apply and your cancellation rights will be shown at the point of booking.
  • Our Right To Cancel

    • Our Right To Cancel

    If you have not exercised your right to cancel pursuant to clause 1 and 2 and/or you have failed to comply with your obligations in bookings terms and conditions, we may at our option cancel your Booking. If we choose to do this we will notify you of our decision by email. 
    If your Booking is cancelled by us pursuant to clause above:
    • we will be entitled to keep your Booking Payment; 
    • you will still be liable to pay us all Fees due from you as stated in the Booking Confirmation; and 
    • you will be liable for any other loss or expenses we have suffered.

Do You Need a Guarantor?

Most landlords and letting agents require a UK-based guarantor. Without one, you may be asked to pay your full year's rent upfront. To help students navigate this, we've partnered with Housing Hand, which can provide a recognised certificate of rental guarantee, giving both you and your landlord peace of mind.

It's worth knowing that several of our student halls don't require a UK-based guarantor at all, allowing students to pay rent in convenient instalments instead.
