Do You Need a Guarantor?

Most landlords and letting agents require a UK-based guarantor. Without one, you may be asked to pay your full year's rent upfront. To help students navigate this, we've partnered with Housing Hand, which can provide a recognised certificate of rental guarantee, giving both you and your landlord peace of mind.

It's worth knowing that several of our student halls don't require a UK-based guarantor at all, allowing students to pay rent in convenient instalments instead. To find out which properties qualify and how to get started, reach out to our team. We're happy to guide you through the booking process from start to finish.

It’s been a while since I worked with Yugo’s depot point location. My favourite spot is the rooftop with a view of the shad and Skye Garden.

I want to share my appreciation for Tony Moore at Yugo Depot Point for his outstanding customer care. From start to finish, Tony has been incredibly supportive during my nephew’s transfer process. He personally assisted with the transfer from The Curve to Depot Point, ensuring everything was handled smoothly. He kept me regularly updated by both email and phone, which gave me great reassurance throughout the process. He even went the extra mile by sending me a detailed floor plan of the floor where my nephew’s new room is located — without me even asking. That level of thoughtfulness is rare and truly appreciated. Tony’s professionalism, attention to detail, and genuine care for students and their families make a world of difference. Yugo is fortunate to have him on their team. Thank you, Tony, for making this experience a positive one.

Good location and nice staffs. Compared with other student accommodations, a relatively good place to stay. Parcels are taken care of in the reception area, and the maintenance is always on time. Rent is high though, but it is still understandable considering the convenience in getting around. Not everything is perfect, but overall a satisfactory choice. Hope it can keep doing better.
