Canvas Arthur House, London

Stayed here with my mum and couldn't fault the place at all. I'd highly recommend it, especially if you're visiting for a concert. It was amazing to be just a five minute walk from the venue and then straight into bed afterwards. I'd also like to give a special mention to Fabian. He was an absolute pleasure to chat to clearly a very hard worker, and incredibly polite and friendly with everyone he spoke to. I heard some people complain about the size of the beds, and heat in the rooms but it's very clearly stated on the website that they're small doubles and that there’s no aircon so I feel that’s an oversight on their part and not a reflection of the accommodation. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and wouldn't hesitate to return.

The member of staff manning reception is a legend, so professional, compassionate, and her communication skills whether they were from Thailand, China , Philippines was consistently industrious and considerate. On duty 13th July @ 13:00 2026 I believe she is American in origin. If I was her dad, in a fly on the wall situation through my eyes, im sure his would be filled with tears of pride. I'm almost 60 with years of experiencing student accommodation and would honestly rate her as the best ive ever met and witnessed based on at least 8 student interactions while I was there. I really hope her employers appreciate her! So many people I meet at accommodation like this are sad pathetic jobs worths who moan about the students. .. she was the complete opposite. The way she was with student tennents was by far the best i've witnessed in the last 3 years of working with students in UK accommodation after years of shipping their belongings here then home with some storage in between. Well done Canvas, your employment procedures are validated 100%

Booked this for my son and his cousin to go to a gig at Wembley Stadium, this was perfect within close walking distance. They stayed for a couple of nights. My son said the room was great, the staff were friendly and they had a very comfortable stay. The staff also looked out for them, it was the first time my son's cousin had been to London and they felt very supported staying here.

I was absolutely delighted with my stay at Arthur House! The entire team was incredibly friendly, helpful, and attentive. You feel warmly welcomed from the very first moment. The atmosphere is wonderful and I had everything I needed. I was more than satisfied and will definitely book here again and again in the future. Highly recommended!
