I lived here for 4 years during my studies in Glasgow, and I loved it. The main advantage of this accommodation is its location. Living in Glasgow west end, it's easy and beautiful. You are close to University of Glasgow, and in general, the neighbour has all the necessary. You do not need car, bike or bus. Everything is reachable by a walk. If you need something more, the city centre is not far. Also, it is safe. Furthermore, Woodside house is close to the main road, but still a bit far to be a quiet place. Simply, perfect. Rooms are nice, they are big studios (but it's still studios). If you are planning to stay in your room during the day, I recommand the third kind of studio, with two windows. You may need sunlight. :) Common rooms are also super nice. The sky lounge is exactly how you see them in their website photos. :) All the staff, is super kind, and for all the pandemic it was super reassuring knowing that the staff was there, taking care about students if needed. They will take care of you. When possible (government covid rules), staff organizes small parties in the sky lounge, allowing student to meet each other, and I think this is super nice. The only cons is that the building starts to be a bit old, and water leakages happens sometimes. However, I am sure that the staff is doing its best to avoid this in next years. Scrolling down, you may find some unhappy reviews. These unhappy situations happened in the past. This kind of situation happens if you do not follow the contract. Try to understand that woodside house if part of a franchise, and the staff cannot do everything. They also have to follow the "fresh living" rules. Read the contract carefully, follow the rules and in case to ask the staff. :)
