Enter student details: Complete the application with the required personal and contact information.
Provide a photograph and guarantor details: Keep a head-and-shoulders photograph ready, along with the guarantor's name, email address and address, if applicable.
Pay the advance rent or holding payment: Make the payment requested during the booking process to reserve the room. The payment is credited towards the first rent instalment.
Complete the booking application: Review the booking details and submit the required information. If the student has specific accessibility needs, contact the Residents' Team as the online process may be paused for further discussion.
Review and sign the accommodation agreement: Complete the applicable tenancy agreement or licence agreement for the selected property.
Complete guarantor formalities: If paying rent by instalments using a guarantor, arrange for the guarantor to provide proof of ID and address and sign the agreement as required.
Pay the first rent instalment: Follow the payment schedule stated in the agreement. The first rental instalment must be paid before move-in.
Receive booking confirmation: Retain the booking confirmation and payment acknowledgement. For the 2026/27 academic year, some properties may have a specific agreement-signing process while regulatory changes are finalised.
Complete pre-arrival formalities: Watch the induction video and book a move-in slot when Fresh contacts the student before the tenancy starts.

It's worth knowing that several of our student halls don't require a UK-based guarantor at all, allowing students to pay rent in convenient instalments instead. Lived here for 4 years during undergrad and postgrad education. Staff was always very kind and helpful. Any maintenance issues were dealt with quickly and transparently. Very much felt like a part of a community here.

I really enjoy living here. The environment is incredibly quiet, which is perfect for relaxing. The room is a great size for one person and very comfortable to stay in. Five stars!

I had a great experience staying at Woodside House. The room was clean and well maintained, with everything I needed for daily life and studying. The staff were friendly and responsive, and any issues were dealt with quickly. The location is convenient, with easy access to public transport and the city centre. Overall, it’s a comfortable and reliable student accommodation, and I would recommend it to other students in Glasgow.

Woodside House has been a fantastic place to stay during my time in Glasgow. The rooms are comfortable, with all essential facilities included, and the management team is incredibly helpful, addressing any issues or concerns, no matter how small. Their prompt support and friendly demeanor create a welcoming atmosphere that feels like home. I’ve had a wonderful experience here and would highly recommend Woodside House to anyone looking for a stress-free and comfortable stay in Glasgow!

Former resident. It's been a lovely year. Thank you to Joanna and Lorraine for planning pizza night and Christmas event. All the thing' good, wifi was slow at once, is fixed now Thank to the maneger~ heat is good. Shower is good. Very quiet. Lift sometimes needed to be maintained, so occasionally you have to use the stairs.
