We visited City Wharf after looking at quite a few different student accommodations across Glasgow, and honestly, nothing else compared.
From the minute we walked in, there was such a warm, homely feeling about the place. The facilities are fantastic, everything is so clean and beautifully presented, and it genuinely feels like somewhere students can make a home rather than simply somewhere to stay.
But the biggest selling point for us was Kevin. His passion for City Wharf was obvious, but what stood out even more was how genuinely interested he was in the students themselves. He spoke so passionately about their wellbeing, making sure they are happy and settled, and creating a real sense of community within the accommodation.
As a parent, sending your daughter away to university is a huge step, and you want to know that wherever she is living, she is going to feel safe, comfortable and happy. After visiting City Wharf and meeting Kevin, we came away feeling that this was somewhere we could genuinely picture our daughter living and thriving.
The facilities, the aesthetics, the cleanliness and the homely atmosphere are all fantastic, but for us, it was Kevin and the genuine care he showed that really set City Wharf apart from everywhere else we visited.
