I lived here for 2 years and the staff members were always kind, helpful and made sure you were comfortable.
Waitrose is next door, the St Luke's campus is opposite the accommodation and town is 10mins away.
The area is safe and clean. There are cameras around the accommodation to ensure everyone is safe. It is a bit noisy during the day since the accommodation is on a busy street.
There is a car park, however you must have permission from the accommodation to park your car there. There's also a bicycle shed at the back of the house. There are benches outside, in the front and in the garden.
There is a common room and a study room. Parties and events held by the accommodation occur in the common room, allowing you to meet new people. There is a pool table, a huge TV, sofas, chairs and tables in the common room. The accommodation occasionally offer free snacks.
The cost for doing laundry is high, however the machines are big, so you can fit a lot of clothes in one go.
The WiFi is fast and reliable.
I recommend downloading the Kliq app. It allows staff to notify you when your package has arrived and about any surveys. You can book the common room using the app. The latest events in Exeter are shown on the app. Letters are placed in your pigeon hole.
The MM helpdesk app is also useful. It allows you to report any maintenance issues. All of my maintenance issues were dealt with promptly.
The fire alarms set off easily, so I recommend keeping windows open whilst cooking, turning the fan on alone is not enough.
I had a great time at Atlas House, yes it was expensive but it was definitely worth the comfort it provided. Since, I lived in the same room for 2 years, I was able to leave my belongings here over the summer which made it a easier for me when I returned next September.
Thank you Elly, our receptionist, for always going above and beyond.
