Merlin Point, Coventry

This review is simply a testament to Jay’s diligence and support. For a while now the place has been lacking not merely in basic and consistent quality, support, attention, but also in character and personality. Jay is, to put it plainly, a one man crew that seeks to cover all these bases aforementionedly neglected. He’s always around, has no problem seeing to whatever your issue may be, and even in places in which he may not be aware of the answer, he vows to find it for us—and he keeps his word! I can trust that there may very well be an improvement simply owing to his efforts and attentive attitude and approach. He’s by all accounts, a step in the right direction for the building.

Since the change to new management Jay has been extremely professional and helpful. He is always available and attentive to the needs of the residents and always shows a great commitment to his role. Jay is happy to go the extra mile to offer assistance, responding to any queries or issues he himself may be new to, ensuring that everyone has a comfortable and positive living experience.

I have lived in Merlin Point for the last 3.5 years. Although I have seen the place go through very poor times, there have been many positive changes made in a short period since the new landlord and management company took over this year. The staff member they have brought in, Jay, needs a shout out. He is brilliant and will go above what is expected, recently even opening the office up on Good Friday for a bit, his day off, to help residents out. Overall, I have always felt comfortable here and stayed in a much worse student accommodation before, hence my repeat custom. Yes there have been bad experiences as the other reviews talk over but the site has a new landlord and new management who are eager to bring in positive changes with many made already.
