Northgate Studios

I stayed at studios as a fresher until the end of my undergrad because I couldn't find anywhere better in Chester! Rooms are spacious with good views, decently sized kitchens and bathrooms. The reception is always open meaning your parcels get delivered safely and are easy to collect which is a big relief. The building wardens are friendly and do a great job at providing extra security, tackling any issues out of hours or on the weekends (which means never being locked out even if you lose your keys)! Staying in a studio can sometimes be isolating compared to a house or shared flat. However the brilliant staff throw a lot of fun events, like easter egg hunts and raffles, giving plenty of opportunities to socialise and meet other people in the building. Special mention to Isabel and Mike for making studios feel like a home away from home. Their patience, understanding and good vibes really made my experience enjoyable 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

I have stayed in Northgate studios for the majority of my time at university (2years) and it has been a pleasant stay. Being right on the outside of the city, it’s in the middle of both main university campuses, near the bus and train station, and only a short walk into town and i liked how close it is to the gym. Compared to other places i have stayed, viewed or visited, I have definitely got the best for my money here, having the flexibility of independence living alone and having friends in the building. I managed to meet some friends from my building during social events arranged by the team! The building is well kept, my room was lovely and clean on my arrival and relevant safety checks have been completed. Management are great at contacting via email in advance if they require access to rooms for checks or tests. They are also good with dealing with issues within the building and have wardens to contact when reception is not open. Any maintenance issues were dealt with promptly.

I lived in Northgate Studios during my second year at university, and am still there for my third and final year. There isn’t a single complaint I can think of. The prices are incredible, especially for a studio, the rooms are very spacious and have great storage, the people at reception are always helpful. The vending machine in Northgate Studios always has a wide variety of drinks and snacks, the social space is large and the social events hosted are always of a good standard. I have no complaints about Northgate Studios, I have had an amazing experience and would thoroughly recommend to anyone looking for an accommodation in Chester.

Extremely helpful and polite receptionists, they always create an exceptionally warm and inviting environment! I thoroughly enjoy the facilities and services which they provide such as regular parties and functions for the students, and how acquiescent and punctual they are whenever I have any important queries, require any assistance or whenever something needs to be repaired. The studios are definitely worth the money, experience and expediency. I would highly recommend this student accommodation to any prospective students and tenants. Once again, outstanding service and exceptionally welcoming people!!
