Honest review, there are some bumps along the way but it definitely worth five-star as a newly opened accommodation.
Staff are friendly and helpful, but some residents do not follow house rules (e.g. smoke in room, not turning on extractor) which led to constant fire alarm triggers especially in the first few months. The alarm is super loud and it usually takes 20min for security to arrive and deactivate it. The lift was also out of service fairly frequently and could take days to be fixed.
However, other than that there really can be no complaint. The central location is super convenient and the view is lovely on higher floors. Since we’re the first residents, there was no kitchenware but I suppose future residents can use what is left by predecessors. The studio is well-equipped, and there is a gym, laundry room (pay per use) plus spacious common areas on g/f and b/f. There were issues with packages being stolen in the beginning, but a system was in place swiftly to ensure secure pick-ups. Access card is needed to enter the building so it’s a very secure building, the neighborhood also feels safe even in late night.
Overall, it’s a very nice place to stay at and it’s worth the price if you also compare with other private student accommodation in town. This is the first year of their operation and there are trials and errors, but the staff and management are definitely trying and things do get improved as we go into the academic year.
