About Birmingham

Birmingham is a beautiful city that finds itself in the heart of the United Kingdom. Compared to the other big cities in the UK, living in Birmingham is pretty affordable. So, it’s a great living choice for students who are almost always on a budget. The city is multicultural and diverse, which is why students find it easy to settle quickly here.

Birmingham used to be known as the City of a thousand trades due to its reputation of being the world’s first manufacturing hub. Like many others, if you find yourself feeling at peace in the company of plants, a visit to the Birmingham Botanical Gardens is a must. Since its inception in the nineteenth century, the gardens have grown to accommodate several unique species of plants, trees and birds. The city of Birmingham celebrates diversity and culture. You’ll see how beautifully different cultures from around the world are represented in the city. It’s home to more than 40 art galleries that have a large collection of masterpieces from across the world.  Known as ‘Britain’s foodiest town’, you will find a wide variety of foodstuff here too.
