Location is very good. Bus stop right outside that takes you straight to town or all the way up to campus. You have a Tesco about an 8 minute walk away and a Lidl that’s about 15 away. Puregym’s right next door if you’re not satisfied with the gym here, which I would say has enough for you to get by. I stayed in a studio - the room itself is fairly spacious, heating is good, though I wish the bathroom had a heated towel rack. Also, the bathroom floor is like granite or some rock that makes it a bit difficult to clean normally. Otherwise, bed is comfy, very good desk space and storage space. Those with more clothes might need more wardrobe space, I noticed a few people using wardrobe extenders. I did struggle with finding where to keep some kitchen stuff but that problem might be unique to me. Fridge and freezer are standard, same as microwave oven and the hobs. Sink is also wide enough that you can wash stuff without having to use weird angles. Communal spaces are good, kept clean as well. Study spaces as well as quiet study room and places to play pool, table tennis, piano, arcade games. Cinema room as well, but I wish you could manually switch off the lights as opposed to being automatic. Noise levels were not bad for me, no one complained about my loud music and i had no issues with anyone else, but there is construction nearby that I can imagine might be annoying for some, though you won’t hear it well if your window is closed. Laundry is good, maybe more machines? but I guess just try and get there when it’s free. Parcel handling is just as you would find it anywhere else.
