    Unless the context otherwise requires, words and expressions defined in your Assured Shorthold Tenancy Agreement shall have the same meanings in this cancellation policy.

    Unless the tenancy agreement has already commenced and you have not collected the keys to your room, you may cancel your tenancy, by giving notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, at any time before the 1st of May 2026 or within the period of forty eight hours (48) hours of the date on which you sign your first tenancy agreement for the 2026/27 Academic Year or Semester (the “Cooling-Off Period”). Once we receive such a notice, we will confirm receipt, cancel your tenancy, and will refund your Advance Rent Payment, together with any other payments of rent you may have made

  • Cancelling Outside The Cooling-Off Period

    Outside the cooling-off period, you may request to cancel your tenancy by notice in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property. However, you will remain liable for the rent payable under the tenancy agreement until a suitable replacement tenant has been found.

    If you are not successfully awarded a visa to travel and study, then we can help. Firstly, we may be able to transfer you to another one of our residences around the globe if you are going to study elsewhere. If you are not going to study elsewhere or we do not have accommodation available in your new city/town of study, we will release you from your tenancy agreement, provided the following criteria are met:

    1. You submit your request to cancel, in writing or by e-mail, to the manager at the property, within 3 days of your visa rejection letter: and
    2. You provide the manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the embassy or visa office.

    If your tenancy has commenced, you will remain liable for the rent payable under the tenancy agreement until receipt of the above

    If you are not successful in obtaining your place at your chosen university, then don’t worry, we can help.     1. You submit your request to cancel, in writing or by e-mail to the manager at the property, before 22nd August 2026; and
    2. You provide the manager with a copy of your rejection letter from the University or UCAS.

    Once we have your request, we will confirm receipt and refund your advance rent payment, together with any other rent payments you may have made.

    I’ve lived in this dorm for two years the first time I moved to Münster. I loved my apartment! The spacious apartment, cozy room, the interior and convenience having a supermarket directly downstairs, were definitely my fave’s. The common rooms for events, gatherings and occasional parties were really useful. Also, the location is amazing, since it’s a 5 min walking from Aasee and 15 from the inner city. The support team is in the office during weekdays, in case something has to be fixed, so you don’t have to be stressed, because of some problems. It’s a very safe and secure environment for students and definitely recommended if you are looking for a kind community. The only bad thing I could say is that the building is a bit old, so the elevator had issues every now and then, but the staff is very nice and always trying to help as much as they can. And obviously since it’s a student dorm, it can get noisy in the common spaces, especially on the weekends. I’m very happy that I’m now part of the Yugo community and already miss living there:)

    I'm really enjoying my stay here. The building is modern and offers great facilities like a gym, laundry and common area to hang out. My apartment is perfect for a single person, comfortable, well equipped and provides a great balance between privacy and social like. The staff is very friendly and efficient. They helped me settle in with great tips about the city and were incredibly fast at fixing a plumbing issue I had. I also feel very safe thanks to the electronic key system, cameras and the fact that staff are available most of the day (with emergency contacts provided for the night). The wifi is fast and reliable, which is a huge plus. I also love the social event at the start of the semester, it helps in making friends. Finally, the location is perfect: close to the center, right by the bus stop, and with a supermarket literally downstairs. Highly recommended!
