The Waterways, Nottingham

This accommodation is by far the best in Nottingham. Over the 2 years i have been here, the staff went above and beyond for me, which gave me a sense of security, enabling me to feel comfortable during my time here. This is an important factor as being a student can feel overwhelming and lonely. They provided so many activities throughout the year, enabling me to make friends.

I can’t recommend The Waterways enough! I absolutely love living here. My room is incredibly spacious and has such a nice layout, which isn't that common in student accoms. The entire environment is clean and friendly, and the staff are always welcoming and helpful. Any time I’ve had a room issue, it’s been resolved quickly and professionally. The location is just a 12-minute walk away from the city centre, so that's great too. Overall, a great place to stay!

I’ve had a really good experience living here this year. The location is amazing as it is just a short walk to the city centre and around 10 minutes to NTU City Campus, with a bus stop right outside for easy access to UON. There are also several supermarkets nearby, which makes everyday life really convenient. The building is modern and well maintained, with great facilities like a gym, cinema room, and plenty of communal study and social spaces. They also organise regular events, which add to the friendly atmosphere. The staff are approachable and quick to help with any issues, and the maintenance and security team are especially friendly. The rooms are a good size with plenty of storage, and the price feels reasonable for the location and amenities. Overall, I’d definitely recommend it to anyone studying in Nottingham.

I’ve had a positive experience living here this year, and the high reviews speak for themselves. The location is ideal, as it’s just a few minutes walk from the city centre and great for NTU students, as it’s around a 10-minute walk to the City Campus, as well as a short bus ride from UON (conveniently, there is a bus stop outside the accommodation). There are multiple grocery stores a short walk away, which is very useful. The building is new, modern and well kept by the staff. They have nice amenities to offer, such as a gym, cinema room and plenty of communal spaces to study or relax in. They host regular events like crafting nights and freebie days, which are fun. The staff are really approachable and helpful when it comes to resolving issues or queries. (Shout out to the really friendly maintenance and security guys, they are great). The rooms are a good size for student halls, with plenty of storage to live comfortably, and the price is really reasonable considering the location and amenities are great. Overall, I really recommend it to anyone coming to study in Nottingham because you really can’t go wrong. 🙂

I really loved staying here, as a student, since I got here. The staff are so friendly and patient. I've had room issues solved within a day and they are really helpful when it comes to Tenancy issues. The facilities are regularly cleaned and I think the offers provided for accommodation is generous.
