I don't have many complaints whatsoever regarding the building and the staff. Since most of the good staff left. But beware of the bald Bulgarian guy, one of the night staffs, he's so terrible that I didn't bother to get his name. Other than that, people have a tendency to roam around here doing hard drugs. It's just utter chaos. As an Indian myself who doesn't speak Hindi, this place is littered with people shouting Hindi in a communal area, which is extremely rude since it's a shared, common area. I give this place 2 stars for Phedon and Dooki at the reception.

We have been living in a construction site from the past 1.5 months. This is a crucial dissertation period for masters students. We lost access to all common facilities for the period. The rooms are extremely tiny so we feel claustrophobic in our rooms and had no other choice but to spend more money and find places outside to study. None of our rent has been compensated. This was a pure scam. I do not recommend this property to anyone who’s looking for a comfortable space to study and socialise. We sent multiple emails to the staff and managerial team and none of them have been helpful. They sent us the same reply repeatedly. It’s all for money. They don’t care about the students.

Doesn't worth the price. Some staff are extremely rude. A male staff even shouted at a student. Never choose this accommodation.

Typically unite, safe secure and good value. Don't expect luxury but functionality is guaranteed. The staff are professional and some of them were students so they will understand what you are experiencing. Living at Stapleton House has been nothing short of a nightmare, especially in the past month. The ongoing renovations in the common areas on the ground floor, which were sprung on us with just a week’s notice, have made life unbearable. The relentless noise, pervasive dust, and overwhelming fumes are taking a toll on our physical and mental well-being. As students nearing the end of our academic year, with dissertations due, the timing couldn't be worse. Concentrating is nearly impossible, and the stress is making us sick. When we approached Unite Students for compensation, their response was beyond disappointing—pizzas and ice cream, as if that could somehow make up for the disruption we're enduring. This gesture feels more like a slap in the face than a solution. If Unite Students genuinely cared about improving living conditions at Stapleton House, they would focus on the real issues: the cramped, poorly designed bedrooms, lack of soundproofing, and outdated appliances. But real improvements would mean relocating residents, which would cut into their profits—so they won’t do it. This experience has revealed the true nature of Unite Students. Their priority is profit, not the welfare of their residents or staff. The staff at Stapleton House are stuck in the middle, underpaid and forced to deal with the fallout of Unite’s decisions. Despite our countless emails and calls, we never hear directly from Unite Students. Instead, they hide behind the hardworking staff, who are left to deliver bad news and face the brunt of residents’ frustrations. We had one meeting with the general manager about our concerns, but after that, she vanished. It’s clear that those with the power to make changes are avoiding us, leaving the staff to handle the mess. It’s disheartening and unethical, and frankly, I feel for the staff as much as I do for my fellow residents. And please, don’t insult us by replying to this review asking me to contact you. We’ve tried that, and it’s clear that Unite Students has no intention of listening to or helping us.
