iQ Tufnell House
Located in Zone 1/2 and the quiet, leafy suburb of Tufnell Park, our Tufnell House building gives you a countryside feel and neighbourhood charm with easy access to central London. The surrounding area has great independent food and drink establishments and a few excellent live music venues, with the buzz of Camden just a short bus ride or Tube journey away. It’s walking distance to the beautiful green expanses of Hampstead Heath too, and there are playing fields adjacent to the building with public tennis courts. It’s an easy Tube ride to Regent’s University, University College London, the University of Westminster, City University and the University of the Arts.
The building features some great social spaces, an onsite gym and regular events to help students get to know each other. A range of en suite rooms, studios and flats are on offer as well as some special options in the separate Gatehouse building for final year and postgraduate students. If you’re looking for even more privacy, space and comfort, our Silver Studio rooms give you a 25 sq m floor plan with a private bathroom, kitchenette and full-size double bed.
Each of these three rooms has been carefully renovated in contemporary style, with wooden floors and stylish furniture. Included are a double bed, a study area with desk and chair and lots of storage. Original features include the big windows and the (non-working) fireplace in one of the rooms. The three residents of these great rooms share a big kitchen and living space with a sofa, and also get to use the main building’s gym and laundry. Housed in the separate Gatehouse building at Tufnell House, three of these excellent 14 sq m en suite rooms are available as part of a shared house with a private garden.

Without a UK rental guarantor, most landlords and agents will require you to pay the full year's rent upfront. We have partnered with Housing Hand who can provide you with a certificate of rental guarantee.

A booking can be cancelled up to and including 31st July of the year when the student was due to move in. The booking fee is non-refundable.
After 31st July, if a student wishes to cancel a booking, they will remain liable for the contractual obligations laid out in the Tenancy Agreement, unless proof of one of the following can be supplied:
1. Their UK Visa application has been denied
2. They have failed to obtain the required qualifications to get into their university of choice
3. Extenuating circumstances e.g.: ill-health, family circumstances
Evidence of a) or b) should be supplied to iQ Student Accommodation within 72 hours of receiving official confirmation.
Where the reason for cancellation can’t be proved in line with the above, the student will remain liable for the full contractual rent, unless and until a replacement tenant is found. The student is responsible for finding an eligible replacement tenant, although site staff will assist where possible. If a replacement tenant is found, the student will be released from the contractual obligations laid out in the Tenancy Agreement and any rent money will be refunded. The booking fee will be retained.
