Kirby Street Residence, London

Been here for more than a month and really couldn't ask for more. Very secure neighborhood (jewelry district), very responsive and helpful staff, never heard any kind of noise from other residents, very spacious compared to other student residences, and it's literally a 3 min walk to Chancery Lane Station (Central Line). Do be prepared for the very warm temperature of the rooms (bought a fan from amazon and it somewhat does the trick). All in all, I love it here. Definitely recommend it for students coming to London.

My wife and I stayed for one month in the Classic room. The room fully met our expectations. It has a small kitchen area with a stove, table, and refrigerator, which was more than enough for our daily needs. Everything went well during our stay.

He always takes the time to listen and makes residents feel respected and supported. You can tell he cares about the community he oversees. Raisa, at the front of house, is the heart of the building. Her warm energy and genuine friendliness brighten every interaction — she makes coming home feel welcoming. Kadir, at the front desk, is consistently helpful, patient, and dependable. Whether it’s answering a question or assisting with a request, he does it with a smile and a calm, positive attitude. Fred, our maintenance technician, is truly outstanding. He responds quickly, works skillfully, and always goes the extra mile to make sure everything is running smoothly. He’s someone you can rely on. Blerta, who handles the building’s housekeeping, keeps the common areas spotless and comfortable. Her dedication shows in the details, and her work makes the entire environment feel brighter and more cared for. I’m thankful for each of them. Their hard work, kindness, and genuine care make this building not just a place to live, but a real community.

I’ve had a really great experience moving into Kirby Street. The room is spacious, well laid out, and huge compared to previous accommodation — I’m genuinely very happy with it so far. A special thank you to Fred, who helped arrange everything in advance so I could move in late on Friday night. The night staff member knew exactly who I was, what to do, and had everything ready, which made the whole process completely stress-free. I’d also like to thank Dan, who has been fantastic throughout the whole process. He’s been consistently responsive to calls and emails and clearly takes ownership of making sure things run smoothly. Overall, a really positive move-in experience and great service from the team — I’m very glad I chose to move here.
