The staff in the student flats are very friendly and solve problems promptly when they arise. The flats are also very nice and there are cute cats that show up! Loved it.

The living experience here is super good. Staffs are very friendly and will do their best to help you solve all problems. Also, It has a good location, with a beautiful park right next to it and very convenient to walk to school. If you like cats, there are many friendly cats in the apartment.

I stayed at Halsmere for two academic years and had a positive experience throughout. The accommodation is spacious, secure, and well-managed, and the entire team was incredibly supportive and kind. Xiaoyan was especially professional and approachable, always going the extra mile to help with any enquiries I had. I also had the pleasure of getting to know Bashir, Edward, and Albertina — each one of them contributed to making Halsmere feel like a welcoming and well-run place to live. Every member of staff was friendly, responsive, and genuinely cared about the student experience. During my time there, I was a Student Ambassador, which gave me the chance to assist fellow residents, support the front desk team, and see firsthand the care and effort the staff put into building a strong sense of community. The team regularly organised events in the common room — from Christmas get-togethers to Easter egg hunts and Halloween celebrations. They also went out of their way to decorate the common room and hallway for every major holiday with festive garlands and thoughtful touches. I remember them leaving chocolates and sweet handwritten Valentine’s day messages in the hallway that students could pick up and enjoy — small gestures that made a big difference. The location is another highlight — well-connected by transport, close to shops, and just a short walk from a beautiful nearby park. It’s a peaceful, welcoming, and well-managed place to live. There is a beautiful garden in the backyard as well with apple trees. I would absolutely recommend Halsmere to any student looking for a safe, friendly, and community-focused home.

I absolutely loved living here! 🏡✨ The area is peaceful, super safe, and full of charm. Right next to the building is a huge, beautiful park — perfect for morning walks, coffee breaks, or just lying on the grass doing nothing (my favorite activity 😌). There’s a lovely café inside the park and even a football field for sporty days! And let’s talk about the real star of the place — the adorable black and white cat who lives in the building! 🐱 Always around to say hi and steal hearts. The neighborhood itself is quiet and friendly, with beautiful red-brick houses and golden sunsets that make every evening feel a little magical. 🌇 The building also has a green courtyard, ideal for a little reading or relaxing after a long day. Truly a cozy and heartwarming place to stay — highly recommend! 💚

Halsmere Studios – Excellent Student Accommodation I highly recommend Halsmere Studios for students. The studios are modern, well-equipped, and provide everything needed for a comfortable stay. Transport is convenient with good bus links nearby, though the underground station is a bit of a walk. The area is quiet, which is great for studying, and it's complemented by a beautiful park perfect for relaxing. The local community is very friendly. A special mention must go to the reception staff, Xiaoyan and Sandy. They are professional, responsible, and incredibly helpful, always going the extra mile to assist residents. Safety is clearly a priority here, with robust security measures and comprehensive fire safety facilities in place. Overall, I am very satisfied with my life here and would definitely recommend Halsmere Studios to other students.
