    Get in touch and tell us straight away. How much we can help will depend on the timing and the circumstances of your cancellation.
    Licence Agreements are legally binding, so once you have signed and returned your contract, you're required to pay your rent. If (under special circumstances only) you need to withdraw from the Licence Agreement, we'll try to find a replacement Licensee for your room, but we can't guarantee we'll be able to. If a new Licensee is found, then we can release you from your licence, but there will be a re-licence fee*. If you require a copy of the re-licence terms and conditions, please get in touch with us.

    Once you have paid your Advance Rent and you have been allocated a room, then, should you decide to cancel, the amount is equal to the lesser of
    (i) the Advance Rent and
    (ii) the amount equivalent to one week’s Licence Fee is non-refundable.
     If you have paid the Advance Rent and the licence agreement has been accepted by both parties, then you will be held to the terms of the licence until a replacement licensee is found.

    Once you have paid your Advance Rent and you have been allocated a room, then, should you decide to cancel before the start of the licence period, you will be entitled to a full refund of the Advance Rent.     Once signed, you're legally bound to pay rent. If cancelling, we try to find a replacement licensee, with a re-licence fee applicable.

     You're committed to full rent unless a replacement is found. Refunds for unused rent are given once the new licensee's booking is confirmed.

    If you want to pay your rent in instalments, we accept both UK and International guarantors. This is someone willing to sign a contract saying they’ll pay your rent if you fail to do so. Your guarantor cannot be another student or the government. In the circumstances where you do not have a guarantor, you can register with Housing Hand, who will act as a guarantor, subject to meeting their terms and conditions.
    Alternatively, you will need to pay your rent for the whole Licence Agreement/AST in advance.

    I chose this accommodation when I got into Huddersfield uni from clearing, and I am outstanded by the value and looks of it! I get my own space, with my own ensuite bathroom, with great furniture and storage options. Not to mention the kitchen is wonderful, with brand new appliances which are top notch and a great social environment! The staff here at firth point are like no other, so kind and caring and always pop a 'hi how are you?' when you walk past the reception, plus the responding times are immaculate, quick and informative. Amazing maintenance team too, always fixing issues in fast time after you report a maintenance issue. For all of this, I am staying here until I get my degree, big thanks to everyone here at firth point for being amazing 😁

    This accomodation is extremely clean, fresh appliances and a great spot by being near shops, being right next to the university, as well as walking routes and gyms. The internet is amazing and outstanding for the rent price, as well as the bedrooms being spacious with an ensuite built in! I would definitely recommend, as I will be staying here in my second and third years of university. Also to mention the staff are as friendly as can be, helping with every query you may have and being there for you when you need it.

    Great location, close to the campus, with good grocery supermarkets nearby. Very cheap rents and very high quality rooms. If anything breaks, the service for repairs is very quick. Parcels arrive safely.

    Wonderful accommodation. 5 minutes from the university and just 10 minutes from town centre. Amazing staff, always friendly and helpful. Clean, tidy rooms, lovely kitchen space. Being an international student I was really afraid to book any place online and now I have been living here for the last 2 years continuously! Definitely recommend👍🏻
