True Swansea

I've absolutely loved true I remember when I got accepted to go to Swansea and found out my accommodation; I was so happy I was practically jumping, as I knew everyone called True the fancy accommodation (it gets compared to Dubai). True is absolutely amazing. If you're thinking of applying, do it, as I think it's probably the best accommodation Swansea has, and the staff are so lovely, and the events are amazing. I would highly recommend it. I'm a personal favourite of any treats True had to offer as well as playing games. True is also in a really convenient location; while it might be a bit annoying to travel to campus, you kind of have the high ground against other accommodation, as you have your superstores really nearby, the town centre is very close (great for going out and work), you're near the station (easy to go home), and the view from the accommodation is phenomenal. It's been so hard leaving True, especially considering you get offers, so it's cheaper for each year you stay longer.

Staying at True Students Swansea has been one of the best decisions I’ve made. The building is beautiful – super modern, clean, and designed with students in mind. From the moment you walk in, it just feels like a proper community. The atmosphere is welcoming and social, but still calm enough to focus when you need to study. The rooms are spacious, stylish, and really well-equipped – loads of storage, a comfy bed, a big desk, and a great bathroom. The communal areas are where it really shines though: the sky lounge is stunning (especially at sunset), the gym is free and actually decent, and the cinema room, study zones, and shared kitchens are all top quality. The events team is amazing – they organise everything from yoga sessions and movie nights to pizza parties and career workshops. You’ll never feel bored or isolated here. It’s really easy to meet people, whether you’re in a studio or shared flat. Location-wise, it’s perfect. It’s close to both the city centre and the universities, and there are shops, cafés, and transport links right on your doorstep. The staff deserve a special mention – they’re genuinely kind and always go out of their way to help. Whether it’s fixing something in your room, collecting parcels, or just having a chat at reception, they really make you feel looked after. It’s not just a place to live – it’s a place to enjoy student life. I’d 100% recommend True Swansea to anyone looking for a mix of comfort, community, and quality. I wouldn’t want to stay anywhere else.

Moved in here as a first year student and it is honestly the best accommodation I have viewed. I went to view over 30 accommodation blocks across different universities and I have to say that true is the best one. Everywhere is so clean and staff are always so helpful. They put on amazing social events multiple times a week and the location is perfect. The views of the river are amazing and it’s so peaceful to sit there after uni

So far I have really enjoyed staying at True Student Swansea. The rooms are spacious and modern and have really helped me to settle in away from home. The appliances in the kitchen are very easy to use. Also, the gym is very well equipped and it is a pleasure to use it and the True staff always host events for students to socialise such as in the festival zone! The staff are friendly and understanding. Overall, True Student Swansea feels like a very safe place to live and I would definitely recommend to a friend!

I moved here just shy of a month ago as a 'mature'ish' student. I was quite daunted at the prospect of returning to uni and having the lovely staff here to welcome me and make me feel at home has made my experience so far, out of this world. The building is gorgeous, very fruity, well maintained with excellent facilities we can all take advantage of. A lovely study area, an interactive common room, an onsite gym, unlimited free printing and a 24/7 concierge who look after your parcels on your behalf. The studio rooms are amazing, very homely and TRUELY beautiful. What brings all this together are the staff that work here. I love a rant and a general chat, to which most of the staff I have been able to share these lovely moments with. I'm a night owl and I love coming down to have a cuppa with the beautiful Susan (a few choice words to how she has her tea made lol) but I feel like I've known her for years and the charismatic Chris with the relaxed and chilled mood from Bode who is always up for some banter of a nighttime. I'm always doing me washing so I have ample opportunities to have a natter with them. Other staff who work in the day: Lauren Liv, Megan, Lauren, Theo, Robbie, Hughie along with Aggie and Sara, the best cleaners in the world who help maintain the building to a high standard, which is the norm here. Sorry to all the staff I can't remember the names of but honestly, you'll feel at home here. The staff are the ones that make your experience and will always be here to help with any issue that may arise. They're prompt, efficient and on the ball and once you have the opportunity to live here, you'll never want to leave. Thank you for a wonderful first month Team True
