Dunn House, Sunderland

I have been fortunate to have met good people through my few travels and stay in foreign lands, but meeting Mark Thorpe and staying at Dunns House is an experience no words can describe. And as such, I have no hesitation in recommending it to prospective foreign students who wants a better home-away-from-home. My stay here has been an experience I will live to cherish for the rest of my life; and my eternal gratitude goes to Mr. Mark Thorpe. Of course, the apartment is tastefully furnished with all basic facilities that makes daily living a memorable experience; with one of the fastest internet facilities; all at no extra cost. For me, it’s a 5star experience in here🥂

This place outshines only because of one person Mr. Mark who's the manager dedicated person who ensures we have a great pleasant stay with no problems or whatsoever. The Flats here are well furnished with all the basic equipment's all the rooms have en-suite toilet/shower the atmosphere here is calming. great people around, we have a fully equipped gym here, a common areas with table games, TV with Console games. The building is fully secured areas that have CCTV installed security won't be an issue. My Uni. is just 7 mins walk all the essential stores are nearby like Tesco, food chains like McDonald's other various takeaways food chains it wouldn't be an issue as everything is nearby. I made one of the best decisions to move here !!!

Mark gave me a fantastic reception, the first day I came in from Nigeria, it was an awesome experience I had with Mark and Vicki, they check on me all the times asking if I need any help and every issue will be sorted out immediately. Mark is a very friendly person and make my stay here at Dunn House great. The environment is neat and calm very conducive for my learning. Thank you Mark and thanks Dunn House.

I can not exaggerate enough how helpful the staff is. They always put you as the priority and make sure everything is fine and even when you ask for help with things they aren't really supposed to be involved in they're always there to help. The room is great and the service is wonderful, machines working great and washing machines are wonderful and great with great prices. In my opinion the priority for picking a good accomodation is the staff and dunn house is your go-to.

Staying at Dunn house have been one of my best moments in the UK. The diversity of occupants and their uniqueness is amazing. Also the staff team are really helpful and organised despite the number of occupants they have to manage. Not to mention other attractions like the gym, the games, very spacious lounge and other activities organised from time to time. I'm loving it here.
