You’ll share a kitchen and lounge with 3 to 4 others, featuring a breakfast bar, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, sofa and stools. The Anvil is home to 160 students, just 10 minutes from Hallam’s city campus, with a TV area, game consoles, pool table, courtyard and regular events run by the onsite team.

Need more space? Our Premium Ensuite gives you a larger private room with en-suite, ¾ bed, desk, wardrobe and extra floor area, while still sharing a kitchen and lounge with 3 to 4 others. The kitchen includes an oven, microwave, fridge freezer, breakfast bar and sofas for relaxing with flatmates. The Anvil also offers a TV area, game consoles, pool table, courtyard and social events, all just 10 minutes from of SHU City Campus.

Prefer a smaller flatshare? Our Classic Ensuite 3 Bed includes the same private room and bathroom setup, with a ¾ bed, study space and storage, but shared with just two others. Perfect for small groups! Your kitchen and lounge come fully equipped with oven, microwave, fridge freezer, breakfast bar, sofa and stools. At The Anvil, you’ll also have access to the communal TV area, games consoles, pool table, courtyard and events designed to bring residents together.

Our Standard Studios are fully self-contained and located on the ground floor, ideal if you want you own space. Each one includes a double bed, desk, wardrobe, en-suite bathroom and private kitchen with oven, microwave, fridge freezer and hobs. You’ll also have access to communal spaces at The Anvil including the TV lounge, games consoles, pool table, courtyard and regular events with other residents.

Our Classic Studios, located on floors 1 to 4, offer quiet, private living with your own bathroom, ¾ bed, wardrobe, study desk and kitchen with fridge freezer, microwave, oven and hob. These rooms are perfect if you’re looking for your own space but still want to be part of a connected community. At The Anvil, you’ll find shared social spaces including a TV area, games consoles, pool table, courtyard and events across the year.
