The staff are enthusiastic, evening security Hassan is very helpful and responsible. The location is very good, with both tram and bus stops across it. It's also close to M&S, Sainsbury's, and Tesco. This accommodation organizes many activities, has a good social atmosphere.

Excellent Accomodation, really good value for money in terms of the packages and location wise is fantastic because not only is it located near campus but also very close to transportation services (tram, bus and 10 minutes away from the train station by foot) and supermarkets. Moreover, the rooms are excellent and the staff extremly friendly and welcoming, theres a really good atmosphere throughout Straits Manor that makes it feel like a good place to live! Highly recommend this accommodation :)

I’ve really enjoyed living here! The location is perfect, it’s close to the city centre, supermarkets, and public transport. The facilities are excellent, with a gym and a movie room that make life here super convenient and fun. My studio is well-equipped and modern, and whenever I’ve needed maintenance, the staff responded very quickly. Overall, it’s a comfortable, safe, and friendly place to live. Highly recommend to any student coming to Sheffield!

I highly recommend Straits Manor. I stayed here for 3 years. Great location - near many amenities such as supermarkets, the Moor, restaurants, the University of Sheffield, bus and tram stops. Lovely events and the staff are very helpful and friendly. Maintenance for flat issues is timely. The refurbished common areas are clean and spacious. Front-facing rooms have a beautiful view of the City Hall. Soundproofing is good. Fantastic accommodation, helped make my time at university better and easier!

The atmosphere here is friendly and inclusive, and the team genuinely cares about residents’ wellbeing and comfort. The location couldn’t be better! There’s a tram stop and bus stop right at the doorstep, making it easy to reach the University of Sheffield and Sheffield Hallam campuses, city centre, and surrounding areas. Uber and taxis are always nearby, and the Sheffield train station is just a short walk away, offering great connections across the UK. The building is modern, clean, and secure, with everything you need for comfortable student living. It’s a safe, convenient, and community-focused place that truly feels like home. I highly recommend Straits Manor to anyone, especially international students , looking for a supportive and well-connected place to stay in Sheffield!
