Straits Manor, Located right in the heart of the vibrant city centre, it is the perfect place to begin (or continue) your student life, taking in all that Sheffield offers. Offering stylish studio living (ideal for students who want a private bathroom and kitchen) your new student home is on the doorstep of all the shops, restaurants, bars and cultural sights. Whether you want to take a trip out to one of the three shopping districts in the city centre, watch some football at one of the two top-rate clubs in the city, or enjoy the city’s thriving music scene, there is something for everyone.
Students will have access to ultra-fast Wi-Fi, large beds and bedrooms and communal dining spaces on-site. Not only that but the plush student accommodation includes an on-site gym, cinema and games lounge: all of this and your utility bills are included.
At Straits Manor we love connecting with our students and regularly chat and engage with residents on platforms such as WeChat, Instagram and a Facebook Group. When you move in, our on-site team will help you every step of the way, introducing you to fellow students and ensuring your transition to uni life is as smooth as possible. Without a UK rental guarantor, most landlords and agents will require you to pay the full year's rent upfront. We have partnered with Housing Hand who can provide you with a certificate of rental guarantee.

If you have reserved a room, ID will be required at check-in and the key will be handed to you after signing the necessary documents.

All necessary furniture like bed, desk, chair, wardrobe will be provided plus if applicable, basic kitchen appliances will also be included. Some of the additional information will be given when you make a booking.

Yes, we would be glad if you could let us know what time you plan to arrive so that we can have your scheduled check-in ready for you.

Your check-out date is stated in your tenancy agreement, the tenancy deposit schedule, or in any other documents that you’ve signed in relation to the tenancy. You can also go ahead and call the front desk to confirm the information.

To check out, please inform the front desk, return your keys, and ensure your room is left in good condition. Any remaining balance should also be settled.
