I stayed at Student Roost Sheffield 3, and honestly, it’s been a really good experience overall. The accommodation itself is well-kept, comfortable, and has everything a student could need, but what truly makes it stand out are the people who work here, especially Mohamed Hoonaishi and Jason. Both of them have been incredibly kind and supportive. When I was close to finishing my tenancy, they went out of their way to help me sort out everything smoothl from little adjustments to move-out convenience. They genuinely care and try their best to make things easier for students, and I’m really grateful for that. The rooms are spacious, modern, and come fully furnished with a good study desk, comfy chair, wardrobe, and plenty of storage. Bills are all included (electricity, heating, water, Wi-Fi, even contents insurance), so you don’t have to stress about extra costs. The location is also a huge plus right near Kelham Island and close to Tesco, restaurants, and public transport. The Shalesmoor tram stop is just around the corner, and you can easily walk or get a quick tram to the city centre or university. Another thing I’ve appreciated is the social and study spaces. There are common rooms, and quiet areas for studying, perfect if you want a change of scene without leaving the building. The on-site laundry, 24-hour security, and friendly reception team make life simpler too. Overall, I’d say Sheffield 3 is a great value for money and one of the better student accommodations in Sheffield. If you ever need something specific or want things adjusted, go straight to Mohamed Hoonaishi or Jason they’re amazing and will do their best to help you out. I’d definitely recommend this place to any student looking for a comfortable, well-located, and friendly environment to live in while studying in Sheffield.
