The Reservoir, Plymouth

This was the first year that the building was available, and when I moved in, there was still a lot of work being conducted around the site; however, despite this, Management kept me up to date with everything going on and when things were taking place. I knew that with anything new, there would be teething problems, but any issues were quickly fixed with the onsite teams. The building is really well located just above the University Campus. There's also a 24/7 shop opposite it, which has been convenient on those lazy days. Aldi is only an 8-minute walk away too. The communal room on the ground floor is a good size with plenty of study space. It is air-conditioned and has a large TV and sofa. The reception area of the building is also usually well decorated depending on the event (Christmas, Chinese New Year, etc.). There's also lots of information provided, like good walks in the area, emergency details, and a few other bits. Lauren, the accommodation manager, amazingly provided all this. She's very kind and attentive to any issues you may have with the facilities/building. My only complaint is with Circuit Plus and CRM's choice to use them for our clothes washing facilities. They are very expensive and have a poor app connection and support. I would ask for a laundry card, which means you aren't faffing with getting your phone to connect to the machines. Why they can't just supply their own machines and dryers is baffling. It would probably be cheaper for all parties involved. Note that there are only two washers & dryers for the entire building. Otherwise, I've had a very pleasant experience. I'm a mature student, so I don't tend to go out as much, but I have not had any experience with other students being rowdy or disrespectful. (This might be due to the fact that I'm on the side of the building, where there are only three other rooms near me.) So, I opted to stay for a second year to save the convenience of moving. I would recommend staying at The Reservoir.

I have spent my first year at University staying in The Reservoir. The cleanliness of the public areas is impeccable, thanks to the diligent efforts of the staff. It's evident that they take great pride in maintaining a hygienic and inviting environment for everyone. Located in a convenient spot, everything you could possibly need is within arm's reach and the university is just a 2-minute walk away. The rooms are amazing- offering a cozy and welcoming atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. They provide excellent value for money, allowing students to enjoy comfort and affordability simultaneously. I can't recommend this student accommodation enough. With Lauren at the helm, top-notch cleanliness, unbeatable convenience, and lovely rooms, it's truly a gem in the realm of student living. Whether you're a first-year or a returning student, you'll feel right at home here.

Great location, lovely management team, good communication, clean and nicely designed studios, large communal spaces, everything you need on site

Although pricing could be more affordable, I think this a great place to live. From its location to it’s modernity, I think everyone will love it

Really happy with my stay here. The building’s super clean and well looked after, and my studio’s really spacious and comfy. The location’s great as well, close to everything I need! Booking was very easy and the team have been really nice and always helpful. Haven’t had a single issue since moving in. Honestly can’t go wrong with this place, would definitely recommend it to any student!
