Stayed at both Frobisher house and Old Dairy across all three years of studying at Plymouth university. Couldn’t recommend these buildings enough, both buildings have a decent size en-suite bedrooms and kitchen sizes for you to do work in and be social in. Any maintence issues are dealt with in a timely order. The onsite facilities at both buildings are great, they offer spaces for you to hang out with your friends as well as quiet spaces for you to study alone or with others. All staff here are very welcoming and nothing is too much trouble for them.

Really enjoyed my time living at The Old Diary! The building itself has a really nice feel, it feels homely but still modern and social. The staff are always friendly and helpful, quick to sort out any issues. My flat was clean, comfortable, and surprisingly spacious for student accommodation.

I’ve honestly loved living at The Old Diary! The place has such a nice atmosphere — it feels really friendly and social but still quiet enough to study and chill. The staff are lovely — always so friendly, welcoming and quick to help with anything. The building feels safe and homely. I’ve had such a good experience here and would definitely recommend The Old Diary to anyone looking for a supportive and comfortable place to stay during uni!

The old dairy is very close to both universities and is very modern. The staff are always very helpful and nothing is too much trouble. They hold events to meet new people in the building. The rooms are spacious and the kitchens provide a lot of natural light. Would recommend staying here no matter what year of study.

Honestly The Old Dairy is so much better than any other halls I've seen or stayed at, across both private and uni owned halls. The bedrooms are big and really practically designed whilst having a nice aesthetic and not a typical 'box room' vibe. The shared spaces are also really nice and the location is perfect for literally anywhere you to get to in the city centre- everything is only 5-10 minutes away. On top of that the staff are so lovely and just make the whole experience of living here so enjoyable :)
