About Halls

Albert Place is not just conveniently located, it is also perfectly equipped to make your university experience one to remember and a "really homely student accommodation which really feels like a home away from home!".
Our accommodation is a mere 7 minute walk to Northumbria University and about 16 mins walk to Newcastle University.
There’s a range of rooms to choose from, including standard rooms, ensuite rooms and studio apartments. All flats are affordable and equipped with modern furnishings for a super comfortable stay. Each room comes with a cosy bed, desk area and storage space for all of your belongings.
Whether you’re an early bird or a night owl, there’s never a bad time to work out. Our on-site gym has a stretching area, yoga balls, treadmills, cycle bikes, a multi-gym, a cross trainer and a TV!
When it’s time to chill with friends, the common room is THE place to be. Challenge your friend to a game of table tennis, or rack-up some sublime goals on the foosball table.  The 80” TV is incredibly well complimented with the free Netflix, BT Sports, Amazon Prime, and Now TV subscriptions it comes with!

I’m fortunate to be living in the same flat as my close friends, so everything is quite peaceful. We also requested an all-girls flat, and the Albert Place team kindly accepted our request. I’ve become obsessed with cooking because of the spacious kitchen. I also use the gym almost every day since it’s usually empty when I go, which makes me very happy. I’m only here for another six months before returning to my home country—I would definitely live here again if I could! 😅 Thanks, Albert Place staff!

Albert place is a fantastic place to live, it's in a great location for Northumbria university and Newcastle university. The rooms and kitchens are extremely spacious for the money and the staff are brilliant. Abbie and Jason make living here feel like home. Problems are fixed extremely quickly if one occurs. This place deserves 5 stars across the whole.

The accommodation is amazing! The beds are comfortable and very spacious. I was delighted to see this as I was expecting a box room! The gym is great, it’s small, but has machines that you can use to get a regular work out in. The location is amazing for Northumbria students. Just a 5 min walk to the students union. The reception team is great and helps with any queries you have.

Do You Need Guarantor?
Without a UK rental guarantor, most landlords and agents will require you to pay the full year's rent upfront. We have partnered with Housing Hand who can provide you with a certificate of rental guarantee.
However, there some of our student accommodation do not need a UK based guarantor in order for students to pay their rent in instalments, to know more kindly get in touch with our team and we will be happy to assist you with these properties.

If you have reserved a room, ID will be required at check-in and the key will be handed to you after signing the necessary documents.

All necessary furniture like bed, desk, chair, wardrobe will be provided plus if applicable, basic kitchen appliances will also be included. Some of the additional information will be given when you make a booking.

Yes, we would be glad if you could let us know what time you plan to arrive so that we can have your scheduled check-in ready for you.

Your check-out date is stated in your tenancy agreement, the tenancy deposit schedule, or in any other documents that you’ve signed in relation to the tenancy. You can also go ahead and call the front desk to confirm the information.

To check out, please inform the front desk, return your keys, and ensure your room is left in good condition. Any remaining balance should also be settled.
