Fantastic place for students to live! The team here is always kind and helpful and the atmosphere is really friendly. It’s easy to make friends and the community feels welcoming from day one. They also host plenty of fun events that bring everyone together!

Orme house is a fabulous place for student life and accommodation. It has lovely staff and they put on lots of great student events. Phil is super welcoming and friendly! It makes it a super fun place, helps us to make friends and takes the pressures away from university life.

Best student accommodation ever! It has a beautiful common area and a really good gym. Phil organizes so many social activities, which helps everyone feel at home and meet new people. The location is very central—just one minute from the bus station and very close to all the shopping areas and the city center.

My husband lives at Orme House and it’s a nice place. Phil at the reception desk is extremely pleasant, helpful, and puts on fun events for the students. He knows the area very well so is able to offer recommendations. He’s also been very hospitable to me when I’ve visited a guest. The location is convenient as it is close to Keele and just a short walk from multiple grocery stores, restaurants, and the shops downtown. It is also across from a park which is nice for a stroll. I think the rooms are decent for students as they are equipped with kitchen essentials, a desk, and a bed. However, the rooms advertised on the website are quite misleading. My husband rents a deluxe studio, but it is the same size as the regular studios because of the large wet bath. So for the extra money he pays, he gets a smaller room and an unnecessarily large bathroom. The bathroom also smells bad no matter how much you clean it. There are also two sizes of double beds, so you may end up with a smaller one if you don’t enquire about that too. If you are going to rent here, I recommend going in person to check out the rooms or finding a way to get pictures of the exact room before you book so you don’t feel ripped off, because the pictures aren’t accurate.

Couldn’t ask for better student accommodation! Lee’s got the magic touch, everything’s fixed before you’ve even had time to worry about it. And Phil? Professional as ever, even when he’s rocking a pair of wings. You know it’s a great place to live when your receptionist doubles as your guardian angel! 🪽 Rent’s a little on the high side, but honestly, the service and atmosphere make it totally worth it.
