**Riverside Accommodation Review** I recently had the pleasure of staying at Riverside Accommodation, and it was truly a delightful experience. The rooms are not only spacious but also impeccably designed, offering a perfect blend of comfort and aesthetics. The reliable WiFi and efficient heating system ensured that my stay was both comfortable and convenient, especially during the cooler evenings. While the gym is modest, it is well-maintained and equipped with all the essentials for a good workout session. The real highlight of Riverside Accommodation, however, is the staff. They are the most helpful and friendly people I've ever encountered, always going above and beyond to ensure guests have everything they need. Overall, Riverside Accommodation provides a welcoming and comfortable environment, making it an ideal choice for anyone looking for a memorable stay. Highly recommended!

Came to visit last year and really impressed by the new sitting room area - such a nice space and really fun for events! Also love the astro space for when it is sunny. The best bit has to be the location because it is next to the river and close to campus :)

Been staying a year already and rebooked for my second. Overall a really nice place, cozy rooms and more than enough space in the kitchen for everyone’s things. The closeness of shops and buses direct into manchester city centre is a huge plus, as well as the cozy communal area. Shower pressure is amazing and plenty of room inside it, though it could do with some form of shelves. Recent management change felt rocky but it’s nice to see a cheaper tier of room now available. Despite this, I do have a few gripes: The fact there’s no hoovers or mops given to each flat is a major inconvenience, especially when you’re on higher floors and having to go all the way down to reception to ask for the cleaning supplies– which may not even be available because there’s a limited amount being shared by an entire building of students who forget to give it back after use. Alongside this, reception now being closed all throughout the weekend makes it even harder to get a chance to clean, especially for people who work throughout the week or have long classes that run past reception closing hours. Given that nearly all other student halls I’ve heard about have hoovers for each flat, I feel like this would be more than an easy fix. The way the windows open make them nearly impossible to clean on the outside leaving them to get smeared with dirt over time and overrun with bugs, namely hoards of spiders. I’ve tried spider repellent, cleaning to the best of my ability and just keeping my window closed, but the fact rooms can get as hot as an attic in the summer makes the latter a poor solution and the others haven’t helped at all. I’m constantly removing up to three spiders a night from my room and the kitchen is practically overrun with them. I feel like this would be a far smaller issue if the windows were cleaned at least termly, not just helping the insect and arachnid dilemma but improving residents stay overall, especially if the view is one of the buildings biggest selling points; there’s no view to enjoy if your window is covered in webs and mud (for reference I’ve been staying on the second floor, overlooking the river). Other than those major issues and a few other minor things, I’ve been enjoying my time here and the staff are wonderful and easy to talk to, with gatherings and events being held frequently for the residents to all commune and make friends outside of their cluster. I’d recommend it just for the safe and comfortable atmosphere.

I have lived at Riverside house for the past two years, last year and my current one, and I can honestly say I have loved every minute of it. From the staff to the facilities, I don’t think it could get much better than it already is. The staff are extremely good at their job, not only do they find quick solutions for any problems you have, but they are also very welcoming and friendly, you know you can always go to them if you need a chat. The facilities are amazing, the cinema room is great for a cozy night in with friends and the gym downstairs is a great addition, it has everything you could need and I use it nearly every day. The communal area is great for meeting up with friends and celebrating. I have been to a few parties the staff have put on and they’ve always been super fun! Not only all this, but it is also in a great location, only 10 minutes from the city Centre, and just outside is a bus stop with five different buses to get there too.
