Pembroke Studio, Liverpool

Really convenient, great price, all the amenities you needed for an overnight stay in Liverpool. It was a great location for where we needed to go (Knowledge quarter), and was only a 15/20 minute walk from a huge variety of places to eat and drink. We didn't end up using the kitchenette, but there were also supermarkets nearby if you wanted to go self-catering during your stay. Staff were super friendly, welcoming, and helpful explaining little tips about the room, the lift, security etc., and they also gave us an excellent recommendation for breakfast the next morning. The only minor negative for me personally was I found the mattress and pillows a bit too firm for my liking so I struggled to get comfortable at night. However, I know that is a very, very subjective thing (and I've had a few muscular aches and pains lately which wouldn't have helped), and my OH didn't have any problems with the bed at all, so it certainly wouldn't put me off booking to stay here again. The room was also very quiet which was great. And the amazing breakfast at Bekas (Kurdish cafe round the corner) the next morning more than made up for it! All in all, a great find, and one we'll definitely stay at again if we're ever in that part of Liverpool in the future. Thanks everyone!

Although the room seemed a little narrow upon entry, we are happy to report that it has everything you need in a studio, making it suitable even for longer stays. For instance, you’ll find a fully functional kitchenette that allows you cook and it is equipped with a kettle, a toaster and even an oven as well. You’ll find plates, cups and glasses which would make it suitable for hosting small groups of friends. For those who may be studying at University of Liverpool but have not yet secured a longer term lease, Pembroke Studios has great wifi, a study desk that can double up as a dining table. We loved staying at Pembroke Studios. It’s very close to the centre of Liverpool — a small studio with everything you need to cook and enjoy the space. Five stars for cleanliness, which is something I really value. Check-in and check-out were very easy. I highly recommend it, and if I return to Liverpool, I’ll definitely stay here again.
