About Halls

The Leather Works student accommodation provides free contents insurance, electricity bills, and free Wi-Fi with speeds of up to 200 Mbps that provides broadband internet access throughout the entire building. Leather Works Leeds features on-site parking, safe bike storage, and laundry facilities. The Leather Works building also features on-site management and maintenance teams, secure access, and 24-hour CCTV monitoring. There is also a private courtyard with a beautiful environment where you may relax and enjoy the sunshine.

Leather Works is surrounded by open green spaces in all directions, so you can relax and breathe in some fresh air. Sugarwell Hill Park, Woodhouse Ridge, and Bandstand Community Gardens are a few of these locations. A 30-minute walk from the Leather Works student accommodation will bring you to a number of museums, including the Leeds City Museum and Leeds Industrial Museum at Armley Mills. 

The University of Leeds and Leeds Beckett University are within walking distance of the property and can also be easily reached by public transport. For a good night out, you may also find theatres like the magnificent Leeds Grand Theatre, live music venues like Brudenell Social Club, and movie theatres like Hyde Park Picture House. There are numerous restaurants, eateries and cafes that outline the property of Leather Works.

There are four different types of en-suite rooms available at the Leather Works student accommodation: classic, premium, big, and deluxe. Comfortable beds with under-bed storage, study desks with chairs and drawers, closets, and full-length mirrors are included in each room. Additionally, the rooms at Leather Works have private bathrooms with toilets and showers. There is a shared kitchen for students at Leather Works Leeds. The Leatherworks is a really safe and lively place for a 1st year student such as myself to stay. There are many amenities for students to ensure them a comfortable stay. The rooms are really good as well.

Been staying here about 3 weeks at the time of this review and honestly, I've loved it here! The staff are so friendly and happy to help, the rooms are great with loads of storage for such a constructed space. The showers are hot with great pressure and I've got big windows with great lighting. It can get a little warm because I'm south facing, but it's nothing a fan and open windows can't deal with. The walls are pretty good for sound proofing, I barely hear my flatmates unless they're in the corridor! I'd recommend this to any student going to the nearby universities. - Kay M

Pretty good accommodation for the cheap prices average sized room and has a lot of storage space. The staff are nice and friendly, when I first moved in there was lots of marks, scrapes and paint peeling from the walls prior and one of my window latch’s are loose and the shower door wasn’t connected properly which I had to fix myself other than these minor issues. It’s a solid accommodation for first year and easy access to uni and shops around the area.

I absolutely loved staying at the leatherworks. The rooms and kitchen are very modern and have plenty of storage. The amenities are amazing I absolutely love both of the study rooms. The pool room and the cinema is great for spending time with your friends. The cabin kitchen is great for celebrations making you feel at home, we managed to cook a christmas dinner in there! I made some lifelong friends and memories here. The entire space is just so beautiful and it’s a good location as well, not far from uni despite it not being quite in the city centre. There is also a bus stop right outside that takes you into the city. The staff were lovely and helpful as well. Honestly could not recommend this accommodation more.
