Can I choose where my room is in the building?

<div style="text-align:justify">Absolutely, you can always take your pick from all the rooms available at the time of your booking.</div>

Can I choose who I live with in a shared flat?

<div style="text-align:justify">If the information about the gender of the people who have already booked a shared flat is available, then your allotment will be done accordingly. On the other hand, if you would book as a group, you can go through the group booking process and avail yourself of a flat shared with your friends.</div>

Can I have overnight guests?

<div style="text-align:justify">Guests are always welcome at the property. However, since you will be sharing the space with other people, there are a few house rules that you would need to follow. The guests must not stay for a period of more than three nights in a seven-day period. All guests must be registered. We ask you to keep your guests in your room and let your flat mates know every time you check in your guests.</div>

Can I make a group booking?

<div style="text-align:justify">Yes, you can make a group booking. The first way is to go online and select the same flat on the booking portal. Alternatively, if you can, you can visit the on-site team and make your booking through them.</div>

Can I move out early?

<div style="text-align:justify">You can move out whenever you want. Having said that, if you have signed a minimum tenancy agreement with the property, you will be asked to pay rent until your agreement expires.</div>

Can I share my room with my partner?

<div style="text-align:justify">If you and your partner are both students, then you can simply make your booking at any one of the dual residency studios and en-suites. However, if they are not a student, you will have to talk to the on-site team for further assistance.</div>

Can I smoke in my room?

<div style="text-align:justify">No, smoking is not allowed inside the accommodation. However, you can still find designated smoking areas outside, where you can smoke whenever you want.</div>

Can I store my stuff with you over the holidays?

<div style="text-align:justify">Yes, we do provide temporary storage solutions for your possessions. All you need to do is ask the on-site team.</div>

Can I sublet my room to someone else?

<div style="text-align:justify">Unfortunately, that is not an option. If you do need to move out, you can always talk to the on-site team and they can advise you on finding a replacement.</div>

<div style="text-align:justify">Yes, if there is a room available after you have moved in, you might be able to make the switch. However, you will be required to pay a room change fee. You can talk to the site manager for further details.</div>

Do I have to be home by a certain time each night?

<div style="text-align:justify">You can come whenever you want. We only expect you to keep the noise levels to the minimum between 11:00 PM and 7:00 AM.</div>

Do I need to clean my accommodation when I move out?

<div style="text-align:justify">Yes, please make sure that your room is clean when you move out. You can get access to the checklist and you simply need to tick all the boxes on it. Additional cleaning charges might have to be paid if your room is not clean.</div>

Do you have laundry facilities?

<div style="text-align:justify">Yes, most of our properties have on-site laundry facilities. You pay only when you use the facility.</div>

Do you provide bedding?

<div style="text-align:justify">Please bring your own bedding; like duvets, pillows, towels, etc. when you come to the property. If you are moving in from afar, you can always buy them locally once you arrive.</div>

Brand new student accommodation. A 37-storey building, the tallest one in Leeds and Yorkshire. Strategically located close to the uni and to city center. Has numerous facilities for the occupants.

Very lovely student accommodation, with modern facilities, great city view and very nice staffs, close to supermarkets and city centre.I really spent a very enjoyable year in iq altus. Absolutely will recommend it to my friends.btw Network connection are fine though there was a server crashed once this year.Sometimes the lifts are busy and crowded during morning rush hours.

Stayed at Altus house last night in a flat, the room was spotless, the storage was excellent and the shower was perfectly hot. The view from the massive windows in the kitchen/lounge was incredible! Only 10 mins walk from Leeds station too!

One of if not the best student accommodations in Leeds! I stayed here this year and found the place fantastic, the building is great with some impressive facilities including the arcade, gym, roof terrace and study spaces. The room and the kitchen were lovely and well designed. The kitchen comes with everything you need apart from a kettle and a toaster, however one thing that annoyed me was the lack of fridge space. I was in a 4 person flat with one fridge meaning you only have one shelf per person which really isn’t enough space so I never did big shops due to this, I usually just bought a few things I needed. The staff are all very friendly including the cleaners, John always did an amazing job of keeping the whole building spotless whilst also having a chat to everyone and being very welcoming, helping the place feel like a home. The building itself looks spectacular from the outside and is in a very good central location with it being near the Merrion centre for supermarket needs and only a 5-10 minute walk to Leeds Beckett and 15-20 minute walk to Leeds University. The only disadvantages are that the lifts often break, meaning you will be waiting a long time for a lift sometimes, however I was told next year this should be sorted. Other than that it is quite expensive compared to other accommodations but I would say it’s worth it as there’s also events that Altus House put together to help you meet new people in the building. I’ve had no issues with the WiFi which seems to be a common issue from what I’ve read, I believe they must’ve sorted this out. I would definitely recommend staying in this accommodation if you’re looking for somewhere premium to stay. It is full of all age ranges, not just first years and many international students, but also some UK students too. As I found it so good I’ll be back staying here next year!

IQ Altus for me is the best flat in Leeds! The reception staff are super welcoming and friendly. It's well equipped and new! Once the fridge drawer was accidentally broken they all came to repair it right away! Thank you to the staff at IQ Altus for making my undergraduate life so cosy and enjoyable.

The physical safety and psychological security of the students is taken care of at the property. This is done through the use of CCTV cameras, on-site security staff and on-site teams available around the clock, 365 days a year. Secure door entry is also employed at the entrance to the property. This can only be breached if you physically open the door for someone. That is why we suggest you take special care to not allow people to tailgate you.

The property does not accept guardianship of the students under the age of 18.

The short answer is yes, as long as you meet all the prerequisites. This means that before you bring a TV, you must know whether your room has a TV point. Your TV should not be larger than 21 inches and should be able to free-stand as wall-mounted TVs are not allowed. The property provides TVs and TV licenses in the communal areas but if you want a TV in your own room, you will have to arrange for a license yourself. If you have any more questions, you can check in with the on-site team.

Yes, most sites feature dedicated bike storage areas. As long as you are a resident at the property, have registered your bike and obtained a bike tag, you will be able to bring and store your bikes at the property.

Yes, you can bring your car and most properties do have dedicated car storage space. Having said that, the number of car storage spaces are limited and are filled very quickly. Also to be noted is the fact that most of these places are situated close to the university and everyday amenities, makes the role of a car redundant. Therefore, we suggest that you consider all factors before deciding.
