This is going to be a detailed review so buckle up. The first and foremost thing I like about this accommodation is the value for the money. For the money you pay, you get a good room, in a good location which is great to begin with. The location is something that makes this place on top of my list because it is convenient. The major landmarks are only walking distance away: Buchanan Galleries/Bus Station - 10 mins Railway station - 12 mins Tesco Express/Extra - 3mins/18mins Royal Infirmary Hospital - 15mins G1Dentist - 10 mins Cineworld - 12 mins Now about the room: It is a cozy small ensuite with a good storage place. The kitchen is big enough and comes with all amenities. I like my room especially after I personalised it to my taste. Though if I am being nit-picky I am not a great fan of the grey color carpet. The bathroom is just okay, I had a hard time trying to figure out how to clean the floor coz there was no drainage except in the shower area and the water would just stay there. Speaking about hygiene, the premises are always cleaned every day in the morning except for Sundays but I have to admit I have seen it messy later in the day. Also, there are rats around in the premises next to the garbage but I have never seen them inside so the place is not infested. Rats are a common sight in the UK so just bear that in mind every time you take your trash out. My experience with the reception and the staff has been nothing but pleasant so far. I find them to be friendly and sweet. So my overall experience staying here has been very pleasant, and I recommend this place very much. Buchanan View Halls have a lovely social community with plenty of facilities. The staff (the whole group of people from our receptionist to the security guards) are friendly and are dealing very quickly with any issue appearing. As safety is a crucial issue for all the students, I can tell that I feel very safe. I do recommend for students to live the experience of making new friends as well as joining parties and the cheerful times at our common room (watching TV, playing table games, pool and more). Ive been enjoying my time so far and I will be living here the following year too, as this accommodation is less than five minutes far away from University. Thank you very much Buchanan View Team, you are the best!
