Finding a Replacement Occupier for your accommodation.
If you wish to end your license to occupy early, you may find a replacement licensee acceptable to the landlord. The new licensee will sign a new agreement, which may be at a different rent to match the current market rate.
Before we accept a replacement:
Once the replacement licensee has signed and paid, they will assume responsibility for all future rent and obligations. Until then, you remain responsible for the rent until the original end date.
Most landlords and letting agents require a UK-based guarantor. Without one, you may be asked to pay your full year's rent upfront. To help students navigate this, we've partnered with Housing Hand, which can provide a recognised certificate of rental guarantee, giving both you and your landlord peace of mind.
It's worth knowing that several of our student halls don't require a UK-based guarantor at all, allowing students to pay rent in convenient instalments instead. Fantastic place to live - facilities provided are great, gyms, TV rooms etc - staff are super nice (all of them) they are the best - rooms offered are great and as advertised - great security - strategic location yet privacy still maintained

A great place to live whilst studying. The rooms are great and very clean. The staff are really friendly and helpful and I will miss them when I leave. The gym is really good to.
