I've lived here for the entire duration of my PhD and I can say that the property is well managed, quite responsive and clean (easy also to clean!). All appliances are new and whenever there's an issue the team in site is helpful. I booked the most spacious room they have, which according to my budget was the best value for money. However, even smaller rooms are good and don't feel claustrophobic, but rather the contrary. In addition, the communal areas are quite clean, as students usually clean after themselves and the team makes sure that they do so. These communal areas are great if you want to host a party--a thing I did a several times, as it was very convenient and easy to do through the app.

One of the happiest thing living in Durham is choosing here as my postgraduate accommodation. All my room facilities are well functioned and some little designs are even higher than my expectations (the adjustable bed lights and USB power sockets are my favourite). Living in those rooms facing west means full room of sunshine in the afternoon which is perfectly great. The situation of the accommodation brings really quiet environment, which also makes me relax and focus on my study. 1 min walk to Sainsbury Local, 10 mins walk to Tesco Extra, about 15 mins walk to town. Bus stops right outside the accommodation with route 64 bus goes directly to Arnison Shopping centre. All the staffs (Juliet, Kelvin and Debbie) are really friendly and patient, as they treat you more like friends rather than just customers. They are always here to help whenever you have any problem and being supportive not only physically but also mentally makes me really calm down under this COVID-19 situation. Besides, various tasty food and surprise snacks are served every now and then. All races and religious beliefs are treated fairly and respectfully here. Living here is one of the best times in my life. At least until now.

Moved here four days ago and it’s been fantastic so far! The reception team are so friendly, attentive, and chatty, which makes the place feel really welcoming, especially as I’m seven and a half hours from home! The onsite maintenance man is also brilliant – quick, helpful, and always happy to assist. Couldn’t ask for a better start, or a more comfortable place to live!

Prestige Living St Giles has been a great place to stay! It’s in an ideal spot close to both the campus and loads of shops. My room’s modern, quiet, and really comfortable, and the staff are super friendly and quick to sort out any issues. Recommend it for anyone looking for good accommodation.
