About Cardiff

Cardiff is the capital city of Wales and is one of the largest cities in the entire United Kingdom! This bustling metropolis welcomes thousands of tourists every year. People come here in the search of higher education, better living facilities or for leisure. No matter why you are in Cardiff, there are a few experiences that you must have before you leave. One of the most fun and popular things to do when in Cardiff is a walk through the green, leafy Bute Park that is spread across 130 acres of land. Not only will your eyes enjoy the lush greenery but you will also be amused by the fun wooden sculptures that are spread throughout a trail, sculpted by different artists.

If you enjoy being on the water, then you have to go cruising at Cardiff Bay. If you have a guide with you, it is one of the best ways of learning more about the city and its different buildings. One of the more beautiful sites in Cardiff includes Cardiff Castle. This eleventh-century castle holds all the charm, architectural brilliance and wonders that you can expect from a building of the time. If you enjoy the smaller, cultural parts of a city, then you must pay a visit to the Cardiff Central Market. This old market is still set up with the same grandeur it was in the early days and you will be able to find a whole variety of goods and wares in this Victorian complex.
