Only moved son in today so a little early to review. Reception staff very helpful and friendly. Contrary to what we were expecting, I did not need to move my car away after 20 minutes, in fact, I was told I could park and return if necessary for up to 24 hours, which was not required but reassuring. There were only 4 people moving in today so I'm sure that had something to do with it, likely be different in September when more are moving in/out. Complementary hot drinks available at reception - nice touch. Room and mattress was clean and I was pleasantly surprised to find a brand new quilted mattress protector in the room for the 4ft bed. Blurb on internet states under bed storage, but not in son's room, just a solid platform. Enough room in wardrobe for all son's clothes and shoes. Plenty of drawer and shelf space in room. Room was cold on arrival but warmed up quickly when heater switched on- thermostatic control in room plus option for on/off. Double glazed window unit a little draughty which allows road noise to be heard (Eastern Avenue -a major road- right outside). 4 Electric sockets all on one wall, take extension cables if you want to plug anything in near the bed. Internet speed very fast, ethernet cable supplied plus wifi. TV and radio points in room, no coax cable provided, son won't watch terrestrial tv anyway so no issue there. Kitchen cupboard and fridge space limited - we took way too much food to fit in the cupboards - luckily room to spare in own room. No damp to be smelt or seen today. Lift access was helpful as room on second floor. So far, so good. Update: on "moving out day" we discovered there was indeed under bed storage space, it was just very awkward to access it, I think anything put in there on moving in would likely stay there until moving out.
