New Bridewell, Bristol

This is a really nice student accommodation with en suites, lots of fun social activities on offer & it’s a good distance to the uni, shops, clubs and city centre. It is on the more expensive side but I would recommend it to future students.

One of Bristols best accommodation’s in comparison to its other ones. Overall a good accommodation, although it does have its flaws. Pros: - en suite (biggest pro of all) - central location, close to everything - 6 people per kitchen is much less than other acc - relatively new so minor wear and tear - very nice bathroom - generally nice good quality room - you could get lucky and get a super large room Cons: - gets very hot in the summer - air vents connect all rooms and the kitchen so you can smell if anyone else is smoking or cooking - central location also means depending on your room it can be very noisy (i was across the lanes pub and i could hear karaoke and music, especially on weekends) - on many occasions i saw silverfish in my room, the corridor and kitchen - very often the building didn’t have hot water - often woke up to drilling throughout the year from underneath (snack box was being built) and from the corridors (new bridewell maintenance). This was very unpleasant. We were given a goodwill of £67, but I believe me sleep is more important

New Bridewell has really good facilities, and they put on lots of social events (coffee stations, freebie days, movie and game nights). The rooms are super big and very new with only a bit of wear and tear.

Location is genuinely amazing, you couldn’t be better placed. the staff are lovely and the activities/freebies they provide are unlike any other accommodation. The rooms are clean, modern and well equipped.
