I’m currently living in a studio in the Alumno Falmer accommodation. The position is great considering the fact that campus is just a couple of minutes away from Alumno Falmer. The studio is large and comfortable, it includes a private bathroom and kitchen with brand new appliances such as a oven/microwave, a toaster and induction hob. A regular double bed, an armchair, a lunch table and a large closet make the studio at Alumno Falmer the perfect place to stay at. If you are a football fan then this is the place to go to since it will take you only 7 minutes from when you leave your room to when you are seated on the East stand of the Amex Stadium. Ian & Ashley (house managers) are professional and always ready to help in case of any need!

The en-suite rooms are roomy and well equipped, and it's great to be so close to uni. Honestly this accommodation is made by the amazing managers... they're so helpful and deal with any issues or problems in a prompt and appropriate manner. They're always up for a chat and really get to know you! Thank you guys for making my experience hassle and stress free :)

Lived in a studio flat here for a year and had a fantastic experience. The management team, Ian & Ashley, are top-notch – very responsive and always ensuring residents have a pleasant stay. The location is prime, with the university, bus station, and train station all easily walkable. Highly recommend!

I am a current Master’s student at University of Sussex and living at Alumno has been so handy! It is literally a 5-10 minute walk to the centre of campus and the train station into Brighton is literally next door. The residence is usually calm and quiet apart from the occasional rowdiness when there’s a football game at the nearby Amex stadium. The room is cute and cozy, and the beds are pretty comfortable. I’d say the room and bathroom are maybe a little small but otherwise great! The kitchen is very big and spacious. I’d say the only downsides have been the cost of laundry and the lack of common room usage - people tend to stick to themselves.
