I’ve been living at Yugo Globe Works for a while now, and overall, my experience has been incredibly positive. The amenities and facilities provided are excellent — the gym, laundry room, and other common areas are well-maintained and easily accessible. The room I currently live in is very comfortable, and I’ve genuinely loved my time here.
However, I do feel the need to mention one concern that affected my experience. While most aspects of the accommodation have been great, I’ve faced discomfort due to the behavior of some members of the security team — particularly a few South Asian male guards. Their overly familiar attitude, intrusive knowledge about my comings and goings, and the way they looked at me made me feel quite uneasy. It was especially unsettling that they seemed to know my name and details about my movements, which crossed personal boundaries. One individual in particular, a Pakistani security guard, made me feel extremely uncomfortable with his demeanor.
I believe it’s important for Yugo management to ensure that security personnel maintain professional boundaries with residents, especially female students, to foster a safe and respectful environment. I hope this feedback is taken constructively and handled appropriately.
