Alma Place, Belfast

I stayed at Alma Place student accommodation in Belfast, and overall my experience was positive. One of the biggest advantages is the location — it’s right in the city centre and within easy walking distance of Ulster University, which made getting to classes and around Belfast really convenient. There are plenty of shops, cafés, and transport links nearby, so everything you need is close. The room itself was modern and comfortable, with a good-sized bed, desk, storage, and an en-suite bathroom. I found it a good space for studying as well as relaxing. The shared kitchen was generally fine, although it could get busy at peak times. The building also has extra facilities like a gym, social spaces, and study areas, which were nice to have, even if some of them felt a bit small during busy periods. Staff were friendly and approachable, especially when it came to maintenance or general questions. Any issues I had were dealt with reasonably quickly. That said, there were times when noise was an issue, particularly at night, which is probably expected given the central location and student atmosphere. I also felt that cleanliness in common areas could sometimes be improved. In terms of value for money, Alma Place is slightly on the expensive side, but for the location, modern rooms, and included bills, I think it’s worth it if you want convenience and a social environment. Overall, I’d recommend Alma Place to students who want to live close to campus and city life and don’t mind a lively atmosphere. It’s a good option if you’re looking for modern accommodation in the heart of Belfast.

Alma is a great place for students to live. It has great facilities such as a gym and social room. The apartments themselves are very comfortable and well maintained. The Team working here also looked after us very well, organising events and helping us with any query’s. I would definitely stay here again.

I have had a really good experience living here overall. The internet had been excellent with zero downtime throughout the year which made a big difference for both studying and daily use. The building itself is modern, clean and well maintained with good interior and exterior facilities. I really like the in flat laundry which saves a lot of time and effort. The rooms are also comfortable with nice views and the overall environment feels safe and well managed

Everything was conveniently located and easily accessible — almost everything I needed was just one click away, whether it was services, support, or local amenities. This level of convenience made life there incredibly comfortable and efficient. Most importantly, the security team stood out. The security guys were not only professional and reliable but also genuinely friendly and approachable. Their presence made me feel safe and well looked after at all times. Overall, my experience at Alma Place was excellent, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, secure, and well-managed place to live.
